Just not there yet. The Jets won win sh*t until Hackett is gone. Im sorry, but on 4th and 6, you dont throw the ball 5 yards. a 5 yard completion is as good as a 20 yard incompletion. Chad has just digressed, I dont know what to say. He doesnt look 100 percent...mentally and physically. Not there yet. Heres the deal: Win and they are in. Buffalo and or Denver need to lose next weekend if the Jets dont win. The good thing is that Buffalo plays Pittburgh, and Denver plays Indy. The Jets have an easier game. Im still confident well make the playoffs, but were only kidding ourselves if we thing were as good as the top tier teams in the NFL. I love this defense, but until Hackett goes, and allows the offense to grow, nothing. Abraham not being in there hurt today. Oh well....this hurts yes, this sucks yes, i hate seeing the f*cking gay ass patriots win, i really, really hate them so much, but whatever, they are better. |

Pennington loves Hackett. Until he gets over his school-girl crush or until the Jets wise up and get rid of both of them, we won't win sh*t. But the bottomline, as long as Pennington is here, you can bet Hackett will be here. |

Let's see how much he loves him after they're both getting crushed in tomorrow's papers. |

I hope Pennington wakes up and gets over the guy, but I doubt he will. We may have to fire Hackett anyway and go with a pissed off Pennington, not that it matters. The guy can't win when it counts anyway, and anybody who brings up NE in 2002 and that Colts game let me remind you that the Pats had a bad year for them and that until last year Manning was nothing in the playoffs either. Pennington as far as I'm concerned has not won a big game. If you do want to count that Colts game though, he hasn't won a big game since then, and it's getting old. |

The Raiders game was the big game. That Colt game was a game we were expected to win in. Funny how Manning was able to turn into Superman practically after that embrassment. But if we don't make noise in the playoffs I expect a few heads to rolls. |

im going with yf03 tonight. yes, penny won big games in 2002. he was hurt last year. but in 04 he hasnt. Unless he can lead the Jets over some wins in the playoffs, that question is going to linger. his 2 ints were just terrible. the guys were quadrupled covered! |

Nice to see some people here are with me on this. I'm sick of Pennington being treated like a Golden Boy by some fans. The media is off that, the fans need to get off that too. Maybe it will be good for Chad if the fans start to get on him a little bit. Sometimes that makes a guy do better. |

I'm on record in this forum as saying tonight that if we do NOT make the playoffs I want the ENTIRE coaching staff gone. |

I know most of the guys won't be gone, and honestly I do like Henderson, I just think something BIG has to happen to wake these a-hole players up. |

That's why they have to make a splash in the playoffs. I'm saying at least the AFC Championship. I think the fans deserve more than a one and done or the second round, especially this year. |

Totally agree, but I think it's one and done. Even still that's more than I'm expecting right now. I really don't see these guys making the playoffs. |

I do, cuz i see either denver or buffalo losing, plus i see us winning. chad always comes well after a bad loss, and hey, the rams do suck. |

But they still do have an offense that can rip any secondary to shreds at any day of the week. (i.e Seahawk game) |

I'm not confident, but I hope we can win. I'll just do what I always do with the Jets. Hope for the best and expect the worst. |

We fans have known for years the guy is a garbage offensive coordinator, yet he's still here. The Jets puzzle me sometimes. But that's just the way it is. Maybe we'll get lucky and the front office will wake up and get somebody new next season, but I highly doubt it. |

Yeah but this loss isn't all on Hackett either. The Patriots just owned us plain and simple. This makes me so mad but I just have to accept it. |

I don't know man. Yes the Pats are good, there is no denying that, and to do so would be to take away from them. That said, the Jets do tend to have a way of putting themselves in holes they can't get out of either. It's a combo of both. |

Maybe we need to just dump the whole dink and dunk philosophy and try to do things like the Colts do. I mean they're getting good results. |

The Patriots owned us because of Hacketts simple and predictable play calling. My dad will sit down and easily predict the offensive play calling of the Jets, it shouldnt be that way. HACKETT HAS TO GO |

But shouldn't Penny be able to audible if he saw something in coverage that he didn't like. I'm not defending Hackett in anyway but I'm saying that Chad is at fault for his poor play too. |
