What's up with that? I've never seen a QB get this many passes tipped at the line. I saw one of the replays (of a deflection) on slow motion and his release point isn't that low. D-linemen have been getting up and knocking his balls down. On the last pass, he was coming sort of sidearm, trying to sling it in on the slant. But not many others. Rich Gannon had been throwing sidearm for years and this never happened. What do you see as a solution? I know, o-line could try to get guys hands down, but that can't always happen on the ends. Maybe deeper drops so he can get a better angle? Its frustrating.

its probably just coincidental.

Trying to throw the ball low to the ground (so only the WR can catch it) and the 1st one was a 3 step slant (which would've been completed) game would've been over.

Right now it could just be coincidental, a combination of where the ball has to be thrown, timing, nerves, our lineman getting pushed back. it didnt happen alot vs. Pitt. Watch for it next week.

Justin, no disrespect.....but shut the f*ck up. "Its a part of the game." No sh*t. Everything that happens on the field is a part of the game. If a guy throws 4 INTs a game, that's also part of the game. But its a problem and a problem we're seen too much of. Nobody is getting this many passes tipped at the line. Even David Carr who still throws sidearm sometimes.

what do you want eli to do, that sh*t happens, he can't stop the defensive linemen from putting their hands in the air and swatting the ball down, like i said it's apart of the game!!! :peace:

Did I say it was Eli's fault? In my first post I gave a bunch of reasons. I know the sh*t happens, but its happening to us more than anyone. This thread is about bringing up ways in which it can be fixed. :peace:

It will be fixed with time.

Right now alot of his drops are 3 steps (highest probability to get a ball batted)

When Carr first came in alot of his passes were batted down. Its probably just gonna go away when he gets more comfortable with everything and the playbook isnt scaled down.

Plus 24 degree whether fucks with your release point no matter who you are, he held the ball a little too long sometimes and it came out low.
