Well the obvious things are LT, LG amd MLB. But we need alot more than that.

QB: Obviously Manning, but we need to bring in a quality low price backup. Warner has an opt-out that I think he'll use. We need someone like Tommy Maddox who can step in and play in 3 games if needed.

RB: Tiki is worn down and hes gonna be even older next year. We need a quality backup that can effectively take 5-10 carries a game. I've always liked Mo Williams, but im sure that would be muc too sensible. Eddie George?

WR: I dont see any way in hell that Ike comes back or that Timmy starts, honestly we dont have thee resources to spend a draft pick on a WR. Joey Galloway, Joey Porter.

TE: We need Dan Campbell. Yeah we f*cked that one up. Should be able to get a solid blocker like Kashetta or Holmes in the 4th rd

LT: Wow. Um I think completely neccessary is a nice little understatement. And we better not have the balls to draft some dousche in the 2nd rd and listen too "hes young, they're gelling". f*ck that. Can we just have a reasonably priced tackle? Ryan Diem (RT), Kareem McKenzie (can play either) I dont see how the Jets sign Pennington, Ellis, Abe and McKenzie. Backload the deal so its hits us in the mouth when #92 is retired.

LG: Id be willing to take a gamble here with Deihl (decent last year), Suebert, or Stokes. Kind of resinged to the fact that we have too many guards to bring another one in.

C: O'Hara is banged up. we better need be stupid and leave Lucier as his backup next year. just bring in a reasonably priced lineman so we dont get f*cked in the ass

DE: Bromell (and Wiley before him) played surprisingly well this year, and it wouldnt hurt fat slob Jospeh to learn a little end. Osi and Mike should start, but they shoulda been starting for 2 yrs. An actual position we shouldnt address

DT: Robbins and Hand are good and Kenderick Allen has been solid. We should draft a NT just for competition.

OLB: Green, Torbor and Emmons is a pretty nice base. Especiallyconsidering we havnt seen the real Barrett Green since he got benched (along with our season). But yet again, we need to bring in one of those reasonably priced motherfuckers for depth. We cant have Greisen or Lewis playing when someone goes down.

ILB: Lewis can be a backup 3rd string to Torbor. The man is just not physical enough. You wanna know why we're in the bottom of the league against the run? Bc/ we have 2 bitch LB's. We need to draft a MLB with our top pick. Lance Mitchell Lance Mitchell Lance Mitchell.

CB: Id love to dump little Willy but we just gotta wait another yr or two till his deal is up (unless its up now and im unaware?) It would be wise to draft someone that can shift between corner and safety like Vince Fuller.

FS: Wow, another position that neednt be addressed if we use our damn heads. Draft someone (IE Fuller) and keep Alexander to hold it over. And for got sakes try Frank Walker up there if you're gonna try Cousin. If a ball hawk cant play corner, maybe he can play safety

SS: Gibril Wilson, plus you keep Alexander to back up. It would be reasonable to cut Williams and save money.

All told, we need to sign around 13 players including some backup lineman and a kicker.

- I don't think that Tommy would leave backing up a 1st round QB to come back up another one on a worse team. There's gotta be some other options though.

- I've liked Mo Williams since 2002 when he was on my fantasy team and scored 10 touchdowns. I'm sure his numbers are a little skewed because every Tom, Dick, and Mewelde runs well behind the line but I like his power and aggressiveness. He hits the hole quickly and hard.

- How is it that other teams can trade late round picks for good receivers? Boston (although it was a salary + mental wacko dump) was traded for a 5th rounder. K-Mac went for cheap. Joey Galloway got traded to the Bucs for someone who wasn't gonna play another game for them. If free agency is as cold a bitch to us as she usually is (she isn't kind because Ernie's a gargoyle) then maybe we should look at one of them trade thingys.

- We've missed Dan Campbell. Well, not early this season when Vishante was doing a good job of run blocking (what happened?). But in his last season here we really saw how he contributed. Fullback, OT2, and he caught some short passes. I'm not too sure now. He is coming off a season ending injury.

- I read somewhere that its rumored that EA is big on Walter Jones and that's who he's gonna go hard after in the off season. But last year, I read Ernie's own words and he said that we have a lot of cap room and we're gonna fix the o-line. He be lyin'. Either that or he lied to himself and thought that Barry Stokes and more guards was the answer. Ryam Diem is also high on the list. Defenders have forgotten what Peyton Manning looks like, they haven't been near him in so long.

- LG, I'd settle for Diehl there. I don't like him (never have) but our resources are always limited and we've got bigger problems.

- O'Hara is OK at center. But he's been messed up this year. I'd like to bring in some backups to compete with Lucier.

- DE is cool. And nobody griped more about Osi not starting in late '02. That was one more f*ck-over for the road from Fassel.

- DT is alright. You'd like to upgrade but its not really a hole.

- OLB is OK, although I don't like Emmons. Had we not signed him to such a big contract, I'd say that he and Torbor should compete for the start.

- MLB is a big need. I doubt we can go after the LT and WR via free agency and still have money for a veteran. That's probably what I'd draft 2nd round. Either that or see if Torbor can play middle, starting this Sunday.

- Willly will be back. If he is a free agent, he'll get locked up. I had first said, "There's no better option so let's just keep him" but I've changed my mind. If it means letting him go and letting Cousin/Walker/cheap free agent (the Jets got David Barret and he's played well) start and seeing what's availalbe in '06, then I'd prefer that.

- FS, I'm still on this side with Gibril. He's smallish for a SS and his coverage/ballhawk skills would be put to use here.

- SS... :dunno:

- Not neccessarily Maddox, just kinda popped in my head. I dont want '05 goin down the shitter if Eli sprains an ankle.

- As far as WR's, the amount of double vert routes in offense our offense, we need someone, anyone that can run 4.39 and stay healthy

- And with Wilson hes played pro bowl style at SS I wouldnt touch that sh*t since its probably easier to "find" a FS than a SS

Strider's 2005 lineup (Won't happen, I'm just saying)

QB - Manning
HB - Barber
WR - (1) Toomer/(2) Porter/(3) Carter/(4) Taylor
TE - Shockey/Campbell
LT - Walter Jones
LG - Diehl
C - O'Hara
RG - Snee
RT - Pettitgout

RE - Umenyiora
LE - Strahan
DT - Hand/Robbins
ROLB - Green
MLB - Torbor or 2nd round pick
LOLB - Emmons
CB - Peterson/cheap free agent, draft pick, or Frank Walker
SS - Free agent or pull another Girbil out the hat w/ more 5th round magic
FS - Wilson

K - someone who can kick harder than lil' Sally Goldstein in ballet class.
P - Feagles if he doesn't retire

I still don't think that's a good team but its a squad that could compete. I'd see 8-8 or 9-7 out of that.

hey id take my chances with that and it would probably be better than you think.

Really we've lost our best defensive player on each level.

Strahan obviously
Green was playing like a pro bowler before he got benched
And Gibril.

Gimme a competent LT and a competent speed WR, ill take my chances

thats killed our defense.

Strider, if we signed Walter Jones, I'd seriously suck your dick. There is NO chance that happens. But you knew that anyways.

What's wrong with Steve Christie? Aside from having a mediocre field goal percentage, I know a couple 11 year old girls who take ballet (I really do) who would be the kickoff specialists on this team. Christie's got bitch leg. Someone of those kickoffs are so weak, he might as well have just kicked it directly out of bounds and not exert himself.

Gramatica is who I'd be looking at.
