Right on, brother.

I loved Collins (still do) and wish him all the best in the rest of his career.

ALL I wanted from this past draft was Gallery (who is being vaporized by the powers-that-be in Oakland. I guess noone there watched much tape.) to protect Collins. Apparently, I need to be more specific while praying. <_<

At the risk of sounding repetitive... Why??

I'll never understand Giants fans who dog Collins like he was the second coming of Dave Brown.

Collins took us to the SuperBowl, so i can't hate him.
Give him a decent line & a couple of recievers who can get downfeild & the dude has proven that he is a good QB.

why?

Bc/ hes an idiot that can throw the ball really fast.

Last season he singlehandedly cost us games vs:

Tampa Bay
@ Philadelphia
Buffalo
Miami
New England
Atlanta

And he missed the final 4 games.

Any QB in the league should be able to shred a defense if thye have 5 seconds to throw. Kerry could do that. Any kind of pressure and we were f*cked.

He is as stationary as stationary could be. And when that pressure was coming he wasnt taking a sack. He was gonna throw the ball. To someone, to anyone.

And bc/ of that he has cost us at least the oppurtunity to win in 6 of 12 games last season and countless others in years passed.

Including a 5 INT Super Bowl Appearance

Blue writer, you don't wanna hear from me on Collins. My rant would be much longer and more detailed than Doug's. But from him, you get the idea.

You know what's funny? He's having his usual late season stat padder games. The games that give you hope for the next season. Games that get you thinking that he's finally got it figured out and that it'll carry over into the next year.

He's even at his usual 19 TD/16 INT mark right now. He gets KC next week so by the end of the year he should have a career high in TDs. But that means sh*t to us (the 3 people who) because we know.

The epitome of what we're talking about (only one example):

The Bucs are up 10 in the 4th qtr. As I remember the Giants are around their own 40.

Anway, the Bucs are in Cover 3 (a 3 deep shell across the field) to prevent a deep ball. Kerry is flushed from the pocket and he rolls right.....

The 3 deep do their job and slide with him (so hes looking downfiled atring 3 defenders and a WR right in the face)

WHat do you do? Throw the ball away?

Nope, he tosses it up and......f*ckin John Lynch could've called for a fair catch if he didnt have a convoy for a 30 yd run back.

You're wrong. John Lynch didn't catch it like a punt, it was more like a 10 year old playing catch with his father. Perfect soft toss, right in the bread basket.

Collins would fit perfectly on a team with no pressure to win, some solid core receivers, and an offensive line. He could suck the first part of the year, and when the team is out of the playoff hunt, BAM, he can go off and get his stats padded. Arizona would be a nice fit for him next year.
