Best looking loss I've ever seen. Outside of the penalties (many of which were not called) and the short throw to Finn, I didn't yell or curse today. We scored points. This offense actually scored. We moved the ball. We scored in the redzone. Manning's only INT wasn't his fault. Tiki scored his 12th touchdown which is a career high. A Giants QB had the first multi-TD game of the year. We actually intercepted a couple passes (should have been 3, could have been 4). There was a pass rush. Manning showed me the progress I was looking for and so did Hufnagel. I didn't agree with all of the calls, but I wasn't pissed off at any of them. I don't know how much that pick will pull his QB rating down but I figure that Eli was over 90.0 for today. Good job out of him. We're facing a weaker defense (not even sure if its Dallas or Cinci) next week and hopefully he can build on this. Progress. Points. I'm pleased. I don't wanna talk about the secondary, it'll f*ck my mood up. Progress. Pleased. |

Justin, this is a retard scoring a 55 on a Physics exam. It comes up short but if you look at the big picture, its a f*cking miracle. 30 points is a long ways away from the 0 I predicted. From a team this inept and disgusting, you search for the gray and call it a silver lining. This team was actually watchable. Watchable is a huge stride. We need to treat this sh*t like a homeless guy finding a half eaten Honey Bun. How sweet it is! |

Justin, throughout this losing streak you haven't been going nuts and you pick now to blow your lid? This is the best game we've seen since October. Let's shut the f*ck up and eat our garbage can Honey Bun.
Easy, the same goes for you. We saw progress. In a 5-11 season, after having seen what we have for the last 7-8 weeks, this is the best you can hope for. At this stage, the Giants cannot win a game and they won't. The best we're gonna get is them competiting (which I didn't expect). We saw them compete today and they gave us reason to watch beyond the first 2 minutes. Applaud that. |

i was expecting a bad bad loss.......so this doesn't piss me off that much. sure i'd like to have won against pittsburgh, but it wasn't a terrible loss. i'm not flipping out like i was after the loss against the redskins. |

it was so close and then the interception :furious: that was where everything came crashing down on any hope, sad, i watched the whole game juat to end up seeing them lose, i'm dissappointed, but i will say, they did play better , espeacially Eli, good for him. |

i was busy and couldnt watch the game but i cant see how you could be pissed about this, a loss is a loss, but right now wins and losses dont mean sh*t for us, its how we played, the fact that manning played better (i assume) should get you gitty for the rest of the week. strider - his rating was actually over 100, because of the high completion rating and the relitavly high avg. pass yard. |

From the stats I see, Eli had a very good game. Even though we loss, he's the one we should be looking at. Hopefully he turns into a a great QB and not another Joey Harrington. |

We are still far away. That's what makes this "come close" pleasing. This team needs a good run-stopping MLB, a top level LT, a quality LG, a good coverage safety to go along with Gibril, a backup RB, a better corner than Will Allen, depth at d-line, a gamebreaking WR to compliment Toomer. ^ I don't think we're getting all that. The bright side is that Eli gave us that glimpse of what he can do. He showed us that he can play in the NFL. If he continues to improve and we somehow get enough of the right pieces around him, we might have something. The kick return game has been good this year (can't believe I'm talking about the Giants) and Willie Ponder looked good. He was hitting the wedges, spotting holes, nice juke on the TD to break it outside, and he had a great spin move on another return. Even our coverage team has looked good most of the season. And the playcalling. I liked the playcalling. I don't know why it took this long for them to realize that the screens are good for a rookie QB. Finally, Eli didn't underthrow the screens they were letting him throw. I like how they found ways to get the ball in Hilliard's hands. I liked the playcalling in the redzone. Doug, we had a receiver OPEN in the endzone. You believe that? My only problem with playcalling is that we didn't run the ball enough. But that's not a big deal. |

So you know we'll be drafting a LE in the 2nd round, a RG in the 3rd, a RE in the 4th, a K in the 5th, a passcatching TE in the 6th, and a FB in the 7th. Meanwhile, we'll sign a bunch of no-name never will bes to be our depth. |

Hey, I know that as much as anyone. Ive been complaining about Lewis and talkin up Lance Mitchell for a month and a half. we will get a tackle or people will die And even if you dont get the safety and G (Diehl, Stokes) thats atill a pretty solid team. yeah people were wide open and Rivers always dropped that sh*t. i didnt have as much of a problem with te lack of running bc/ eventually we stopped gettin the push so. |
