How big a load would you shoot if Mike Shannahan was the head coach of this team or if Gary Kubiak was the offensive coordinator? Them two understand the value of a rollout and crossing patters and the short passing game. They know how to call it down in the redzone. Do you remember how much Plummer sucked in Arizona? If not, look at his awful stats. The guy is gonna finish this season with 30 touchdowns. And the running game. They could pull some 120 lbs. guy from the "10 items or less" line in the supermarket and have him rush for 1,200.

There's something to be said for discipline and motivation, but I like X's and O's coaches. You can have the guys focussed and pumped as can be but it won't mean sh*t if you're not calling good plays. Plays that play to their stregnths and exploit matchups. Creativity. How happy would I be if we ever got one of those offensive coaches. You present me with the option, I'd take Mike Martz over Tom Coughlin any day. Martz isn' a tough coach and he does some stupid things, but he calls them plays like a mother f*cker! If we could fire Hufnagel and bring in Kubiak (it can't happen because Kubiak would be insane to leave a successful offense to come take over this one and its not even an upgrade in his job position), I'd tell my father that I'm gay. I'm not, but for Kubiak, I'd tell him.

Someone had mentioned the fact that Hufnagel wasn't an offensive coordinator before. That was he was just the QB coach in New England.

This is all I need, not only do I have to think about the fact that our OC coordinator doesnt understand sh*t about anything. But to get me even more pissed off, what could Mike Shannhan or Gary Kubiak do with this offense. He sure as hell wouldnt' allow a QB to go 6-21 in a game (Say whatever about Manning, that low comp % is playcalling)

Turn Jeremy Shockey into the white Shannon Sharpe,
Knows exactly how to use Toomer bc/ he's been with WR's like that (Eddie Mac, Amith) for 10 yrs.

A ROLLOUT, well sh*t I wonder how that would fit into out offense since we have a Qb that can move. Maybe on 3rd and 8 instead of running a god damn reverse, Manning would be rolling right (they're comin, dont keep him stationary) and Shannahan slips Shockey off the line and drags Toomer on a circle fade with Taylor running a Dig n' Cross over the middle.....

I saw that sh*t with Smith And Lelie yesterday of a Double reverse PA (same idea as a rollout bc/ it keeps a defense hesistant and buys time as a rollout would). They had a touchdown but Lelie didnt fight for it.

Wow, the things that he would come up with with this perosnnel we'd have 2-3 losses right. That would be a fluent offense. im getting all happy just thinkin about it, I have to stop. I have to accept that we live in a world where revers on 3rd and long are customary and straight passes after 60 yds of rushing offense is sensible

1. Oh yeah. People can talk all the sh*t they want about Shannahan being overrated and not winning sh*t without Elway. f*ck you. They can say that Martz doesn't have common sense and wastes timeouts and doesn't care about balance. That's true, but f*ck you. Passing gets you points. Nobody said sh*t when Warner won 2 MVPs. X's and O's win games. Give me that Mad Scientist who can screw up the other, more disciplined coach's gameplan.

2. I don't like the system with which coaches are interviewed. Teams can't talk to coaches while the season is still going. It makes sense but it keeps good assitants from getting jobs. Let's say the Giants have Charlie Weiss (the Pats O-cor) and "X" in mind for hire. X is unemployed and can be interviewed at any time while Weiss isn't gonna get a chance to interview until after the Super Bowl. There's no guarantee that Weiss would take their job so you can't put all the eggs in that basket and you can't just let X hang because he could get scooped by some other team. You may have wanted Weiss more but X is more of a sure thing and you can't let it pass. X was Coughlin. The Giants had wanted to interview Romeo Crennell and Charlie Weiss (I wanted one of those) but they didn't get a chance and at the same time, they were hot and horny for Coughlin's discipline.

3. Will Allen's on your fantasy team. With 5 interceptions and 3 of them returned for touchdowns, he must be raking in them points.

Will Allen is on my fantasy team to provide "competitive balance"

Accorsi has trouble looking at an entire situation. He gets focused in on 1 thing and the retartdation takes over. I wanted them to hire Crennel. But just like in the SF collapse someone mentions they dont have D-Line depth and thats the entire reason they lost so he drafts Joseph instead of Kwame Harris. This off-season someone says "oh they were 4-12" bc/ Fassel had everyone chillin". Thats was the end of that sh*t.

Thats why im afraid they'll draft an OT in the draft.....

Martz is a crazy a-hole, sometimes he just goes against all possible logic bc/ he Mike Martz. I dunno if I could take that either, but thats the extreme

For example:

4th and 8 a 42 yd FG that would make the gam 21-13. in the 4th qtr

Mike Martz runs a fake.

Why? Because he's Mike Martz. Couldnt take that sh*t during a Giants game

Yeah but he's Mike Martz. He makes up for it with his great play designs. I'd trade Coughlin for him right now.

Even with his creativity, he's just to f*cked up. You know you'd be breakin sh*t if they faked a 40 yd FG against Philly and if Tiki only carried 8-12 times a game, and if Coughlin wasted a challnege to gain 3 yds on the kickoff. You know you'd be going insane.

You're just pissed bc/ we have the most uncreative OC in the league (lets run the 5-wide bubble screen and 3rd and long, they'll have no idea whats going on)

Why cant we just have someone with enough common sense to stretch the field and run high percentage routes undernath?

Yeah, Martz would piss me off and he does (I root for the Rams). But he makes up for it when that scoreboard is being lit up. Shanahan is better, no question. But that would be much too much to ask.

Coughlin seems like one of those stubborn people who refuse to adjust or take suggestions from players. On the WFAN show with Benigno and Toomer, they were talking about Eli's game and Joe brought up the 2 50 yarders. Amani then said that it was great and that the other receivers are wondering when we'll start doing that more often. From someone who is that quiet and soft, that = "f*ck you, Hufnagel." Toomer and the receivers are thinking it and Shockey has complained about playcalling. Same sh*t. Warner has said that Coughlin doesn't allow input from players in his play designs and calls. He said that back in St.Louis, he and Martz would sit down and go over which plays they liked and which fits best in what spot. <- That makes too much sense for us.

I do think of more creative things while taking a sh*t. The Giants aren't a creative organization and they never bring in creative people. Never outside the box. I'll be turning on Coughlin real soon.
