eli is gonna play in conditions he has never ever played in before, winds will be at full force and swirling (there is a wind advisory in queens so i imagine it would be just as bad in nj), the rain should stop but it will still be wet. I hope coughlin doesnt let him throw more then 2 or 3 times deep to keep em honest. We should play this game for field position and wearing the defense from the very begining. ON the upside this could take to out of the equation because it will be really difficult to throw an accurate pass deep. One more thing i just hope tiki holds on to the god damn ball.

You're acting like you've never seen a game in rain before. As much that is said about playing in bad conditions, it doesn't make that much of a difference to the offense. Its the defensive players who struggle with traction because they have to react to what the offensive player is doing and make sharper cuts. This would be the perfect time to try a corner-post with Jamaar Taylor.

From Eli, this game gives you a chance to see what kind of arm he's got and how much "hutspah" he's got. Get a load of how big his tesituclos are. Check it: Your team is the underdog, against all odds, fighting to cling to whatever slim (impossible, but to the players...) playoff hopes remain. Going against your hated division rival. The big bad Eagles who just a few months earlier, dealt you a blow so devastating that you were #1 on Tom Jackson's "JACKED UP!" countdown, your introduction to the league of men. B ut now you're at home. Now, you have a chance for revenge. The blitz will be coming and there will be pain. Wet and exhausted, the rain pouring down on you as you attempt to lead your men downfield, lead your men to something deemed unattainable. As your brother burns the record books and proceeds to re-write them himself, can you do something noteworthy? Can you do something to prove yourself worthy of being considered a future record book author? Its what epic movies are made of. Episodes of ESPN Classic are made of.

Bowwow, do you feel it? Do you believe?

That was touching.

We shouldnt throw deep to the outside anyway unless they play 1- high. Brian Dawkins is too good.

If they play 1-high you can run a few combos:

TE Deep In under slot go

Double outside go, TE skinny post

TE under darg, slot left, X go.

I wish I had a little diagram so I could draw all this sh*t up.

If they play 1 high, we can run deep routes rain, snow or f*ckin torado it wont matter.

If they play 7 in the box just run the ball and take what they give you

The Iggles don't have any linebackers fast enough to hang with that. Shockey would burn 'em. The problem there is the fact that the route takes about 26 minutes to run. By the time Shockey begins to break off the in route and head up, Jimmie Johnson has already shot his load because Eli just got smashed. Its a good idea (should have been run earlier in the season) but you can't pull it against a team that blitzes as much and as effectively as the Eagles. I picked Jamaar for the double-move because he's our fastest guy and unlike the TE, doesn't have to worry about getting pushed at the line by a LB or DE.

I think they will play 1 high more than a few times. The Giants haven't taken advantage of even single coverage or gone deep, there's no reason to be afraid. They'll bring Lewis down and have him blitz the middle on those overloads. That's when Eli's audibles come in handy. And that's when Toomer has to start beating single coverage.

I like those two. The double go holds the safeties (both of them) and Shockey gets single against a linebacker. If he can catch the ball.

The TE under drag I think works best from the bunch formation. Start them on the right, motion a receiver over to the left slot and have him run the go while the receiver on the right runs a corner. Shockey runs his drag across and you have Tiki on a flat to hold a linebacker and maybe get a look from the safety.

Yeah, even with the wind we gotta get some plays that if anything srive the safety off the play, if its not there deep (not enough time in the pocket to split the safety) then look underneath.

Thats gonna hold better on a 2-deep bc/ if they play 1 the CB's should be giving some space so they can adjust. But that can probably be solved by running a deep in over the drag and under the corner.

This sh*t works if Eli has time. He wont so hes gotta look for Shockey and Tiki

I watched the Falcons tape yesterday. Eli missed Hilliard a bunch of times. He had him open deep with position and separation from his man a couple times. And on one play, Hilliard's man fell down on what looked like a drag and he had him open for an 8 yarder and since the coverage was on Shockey, Ike could have gotten some YAC. On his first throw (the incom to Rivers), he had Finn wide open in the flat. I think he was looking to get rid of the ball quickly and that made him lock onto guys. Coughlin should have also used some more PA rollouts and short dumpoffs. And I don't know (I first guessed this one) what the f*ck he was doing having the kid chucking it w/ 16 seconds left till halftime. We didn't even have good field position. The best we could have hoped for was time elapsing. No good would have come of that.

The way the camera was alot of routes just dropped out of the frame, so I missed alot of that. Then sometimes you see it and just gotta accept the fact the he wasnt waiting on long-developing routes, just trying to get the ball out. Cant have it both ways. Rollouts today or im gonna be breakin sh*t....

That play w/ 16 seconds left was retarted. Atleast he was smart enough to realize there were only 16 seconds and not throw a useless flat pass (like someone that will remain nameless). It was a nice read by Webster, I blame Coughlin mor than Manning for that

run the deep routes anyway, even if the throw cant be made it pulls coverage off underneath bc/ you have to cover it

I put 99% of the blame on Coughlin. Nothing came of it (missed FG) but he should have had him take a knee or give a handoff.

Hey, Dumbass had Tiki open in the flat for 5 yards. Had he put some zip on it and the ball gets to Barber, we'd have been "matriculatin' the ball down the field." With a couple seconds left, 5 yards means the world.

Atleast Keith Brooking didnt take it back to the house Renaldo Hill style, only bc/ he was smart enough not to throw it, right Justin?
