I'm just sick of Peterson. Either he gets beat down the sideline or he's called for pass interference. Sometimes I just want to kill him. |

:annoyed: He doesn't get beat deep that much. And even Champ Bailey gets beaten deep sometimes. Did you see the Monday Night game when Chad Johnson put the double-move on him and he fell down? Will P. has never fallen down. Does the man not play good coverage and tackle well? How many times has he screwed the team and directly cost them a TD? Stop being a jerk and hop on his dick. |

half the pass interferneces are bullsh*t and i seriously sont remember him getting beat too often. PLus he hits as hard as any corner in the league and is a good open feild tackler. |

Yeah and you're wrong. Juking him, you'd be wasting too much energy for the same result. All you'd have to do is point in one direction and run the other way. |

Gates won't be going anywhere. If you're the Chargers (they'll make the playoffs and lose 1st or 2nd round), do you let Brees go because you've invested in Rivers? Or would you lock Brees up, spend on defense, and try to trade Rivers somewhere? |

Allen has a better chance of making it. The New York media kisses his ass (last year he was a "team leader" and a "star defensive back") and he's the bigger name. Champ Bailey isn't a ballhawk but he has the reputation (league and fans) as being a great cover corner. That's helped out because he was a top pick in the draft. * Woodson made 2 Pro Bowls that he didn't deserve because of where he was drafted * He'll probably finish with similar numbers to Peterson but its guaranteed that Champ gets voted in. Peterson doesn't hawk the ball and isn't gonna have 8 interceptions. The fans outside of New York don't know him and when they look at the numbers, 2 INTs doesn't jump out at them. Some of the players/coaches might vote for him (if there's enough room after all the necessary asses are kissed) but he won't get help from the fans. --------------------------------------------------------------------- If I'm the Chargers, I don't let him walk and throw Rivers in there. There would be more criticism and raised eyebrows than there were in Cinci when word broke that Palmer, who like Rivers never took a real snap his rookie season, was going to start. I was on Rivers' dick coming out of college, but that means nothing. I'd have to go with the proven. And Drew Brees (I think he's 26) isn't much older than Rivers either. He'd still be considered a young QB himself. In a season where Manning isn't making married men masturbate to his numbers, Brees is the lock for the MVP. How do you let a 26 year old MVP (under normal circumstances) who led your awful piece of sh*t team to the playoffs (in a year when LT ain't killing 'em) go? |

Brees had a terrible season (although it seems like they were giving up on him a little early) and had gotten benched for Flutie. I don't blame them for taking the QB. |

When you dont have an O-line and Tim Dwight is your top reciever you have a terrible season. Thats just how it works. They gave up on him too fast |

Actually, the best receiver was Tomlinson. Hundred catch man. They had David Boston and Reche Caldwell. |

Exactly, you cant build a passing offense around a RB without a downfield threat. Boston hasnt been the same reciever he was since he became a free agent, (I cant even remember who drafted him, New England?) Caldwell has been sh*t untill this year |

Boston hasn't been the same since he tore his ACL after that great 1,500 yard seaosn. He hasn't been able to stay healthy sicne thne. But, he was playing well late last season after coming off his injury and suspension. When Flutie started, the two of them clicked. He finished with 70 catches and like 8 touchdowns. |

only around 850 yds though, hes not a deep threat. He was pretty much a a secondary underneath option that became primary with Flutie |

He broke a couple long YAC TD runs last season though. I'd take him on the Giants. Steroid Man still runs that 4.3/40. His hands aren't good (he has T-Rex arms so he can't lunge or reach for anything), but who wouldn't want a 250 lbs. receiver who runs like Holt? |
