Comes early this week cause im busy I’ll try to condense this cause I know some of you have ADD and cant focus. Offense: they pressure mostly between the edges and the guards. Good thing is Deihl will be protecting Manning’s front side so the pressure will come in his face. When we get in 3rd and +6 we’re f*cked. So what to do. Well, some of you will appreciate this and some wont understand, just try to focus: They installed a few variations of rollouts that can really hurt an edge blitz defense. 1. Roll right: Shockey slips out off a block in a flat route and the wr runs a comenback 2. Roll right: Finn runs a chip-release into the flat and the backside TE runs a quick in. Finally, some well designed plays. Now if you blitz the edge off play 1 you cant cover Shockey and Manning can just flip the pass, even with the pressure its no big Deal. If you blitz play 2 Finn will chip the blitz and get out into his route, another easy completion. It was great to see Manning get the ball out in 2-3 seconds all game last week cause he has to do it again. He has to complete quick passes early and he showed he hit 20-25 yd In routes that should come in later in the game. Id be careful of stretching the defense early on. We need a solid drive. We cant stretch this defense without Shockey. Dawkins is too good. I don’t expect a lot of plays downfield unless we force a 1-high and have man to the outside. Barber is gonna have to pound away for this to be effective. He has to have a 4.5 ypc day. 25 for 125. Good, quality running mistake free YAC, passing within a 25 yd box, we better not revert to the 12 yd box that had existed with Warner. Defense: Nick Greisen is gonna f*ck this game up if he plays. He might as well just run out to the 50 before the game and take a sh*t on the 50, maybe they’ll cancel the game. They’re gonna spread out just like they did in week 1. Now, they wont be nearly as effective running as they were in Philly bc/ in that game we couldn’t tackle fat Mexican children. This is one game where not having Strahan might help in some ways. If theres no has much 4-man rush pressure on McNabb he’ll be less inclined to run. But the big problem is, we cant put 8 in the box and leave 1 high bc/ we need to leave a safety to double Owens. Allen needs help. Wilson or Cousin has to stay on that side of the field all game. Now heres how all this sh*t comes together. We have to play man, bc/ they’ll spread out and beat a zone. They play a lot of 4 WR. Blitz Owens side. With Wilson (Slide the Alexander over in 1 high) With Allen (Slide LB over in a zone under/over) With the Emmons. (Straight off the edge) Stop the run, force McNabb away from Owens and just do your motherfuckin jobs on the other side of the field. Question of the week: Can we win? Yes we can win, I don’t think we’ll get blownout. If we do, this coaching staff has problems. What do I think? I think we’ll be reaching for the glock when the music stops. We’re gonna have to make a play late and we havnt done that yet |

Center Shaun O’Hara (ankle), linebacker Nick Greisen (ankle), Wilson (burner) and running back Derrick Ward (concussion) did not practice. They are listed as questionable for the Eagles game. Linebacker Barrett Green, who has missed the last three games, did practice and is also listed as questionable. -From their website |
