Lamont should stay

Ever since sunday's game I agree with this article. My plan is take the money that would be used to re-sign Ellis and sign Jordan, especially if Bryan Thomas can be a starter

I agree. For whatever reason, the Jets haven't shown him any love, which I disagree with. He ought to be our running back of the future. Anytime he's gotten a fair opportunity to run, he's come through. The Jets need to do whatever it takes to keep him. After Abraham, I'd really like him to be the second priority.

I don't know if there'd be enough then. But you're right. McKenzie is more valuable, given that LaMont is still only going to be playing second fiddle to CMart.

Runningbacks can be found, but you have to try and get a good one. I think the jets should definitley get a running back high up this year, they are going to have a middle of the pack pick, i say get a really fresh running back if lamont leaves.

Dont use a first round pick one on, a CB is a bigger need

I've always liked Lamont and would like to see the Jets re-sign him, but I just don't think it's likely. He wants to start so I just don't really know what's going to happen. I'll worry about it in the offseason though, not right now.

He would start in probably 2 years here. I dont want to lose him and then see him become the next Priest Holmes

Yeah Martin is great now, but he could hit a wall at ANYTIME, I would rather keep LaMont for when that happens

thats stupid, Lamont costs money. He's not even all that good, its just dumb to spend that kind of money him when you can just draft a RB like Leon Washington JUST IN CASE Martin gets hurt
