Just to prove a point.

1st Drive

1st 10, 10:07: Strong Right- Toomer (Left completion 12 yard in. (Shockey 8 yd drag under)

Passing to Shockey would've been the easier throw.

Dont lock onto a WR!

2nd Drive

1st 10, 12:32: I Normal TE R-L PA Right. Warner rolls out throws away.

Should have stepped up, force pressure outside and make throw

1st 10, 11:45: Empty Trips Right . 5 Seconds in Pocket.

Quick Out Is Open
TE Corner Is Open: Overthrown

3rd Drive

2nd 7, 6:50: SB TE motion L-R Ste as FB 3 man route

Deihl cant block speed rush-Warner panics, scrambles. Never Looks Right; Tiki Swing Pass

3rd 3, 6:03: Shotgun Tight.

Deihl uncalled False Start (we got away with 1)
Warner never looks Right (Open WR Slot out) Locks onto Taylor. Complete.

1st 10, 5:17: SB Slot Right. End Around PA.

Warner doesnt step up in pock, Sacked. Toomer open on a deep in

3rd 12, 4:04: Shotgun Slot Left. 5 Seconds Protection Sacked.

Warner never looks right. Hilliard Man Coverage

you cant tell dutring the game how well he's playing thats the thing.

I mean you can but you cant. none of those mistakes were glaring. But they were mistakes. the same mistakes he made all game.

It was a consistent thing. first drive to last drive

you just dont wanna admit if you're wrong. I mean read the stuff above. it all happened on the first 3 drives.

He may have looked good, but he didnt play good. He made mistakes you cant argue with that.

the first 2 drives he was playing pretty good, he got some passes off and the o-line was protecting him for a bit, even bowwow in the game thread said he was good and crisp even though i said he was just ok which was what he was for the first 2 drives!!!

Justin, what he's saying is that Warner completed passes (4-4/40 yards/TD on the first drive) and got us into the endzone, but he made mistakes. You can make mistakes and have them work out. For example, you're the QB and you have a WR wide open 50 yards downfield and if you throw it to him, he's gonna moonwalk into the endzone. Instead, you throw to your other WR on a 10 yard hook route and he shakes and spins his way to a 70 yard TD run and it works out. As a fan, you're happy because it worked out. But if you're gonna analyze the QB (like we're doing here), then you realize that the ball should have gone do the dude wide open. That's what he's saying. I haven't watched the tape yet, but I trust Doug.
