Wow, some of you guys are f*ckin stupid.
Brees isnt the MVP of his team, Gates is. Take Brees off the team in 2 years and they'll be pretty much the same.
Manning is gonna throw 55 TD's this year. Take Manning off the team.
You aint got sh*t.
Manning hands down
Manning is the offensive player of the year Brees is the MVP
foolishness
You could put a lot of QBs into that offense (the Colts) and get a similar outcome, im not saying Manning isnt not one of the best, if not the best QB in football.....But if you take Brees off the Chargers then they are stuck with a rookie QB who wouldnt know what the hell to do. BREES IS THE MVP
Brees is a the MVP bc/ a rookie is his backup? No
Thats not what I said, but ok, I was using Rivers as an example. No one is more VALUABLE to their team then Brees is to the Chargers

not true. They still have Rivers, Gates, Tomlinson and a decent defense.
If you take Brees away and put a decent QB on that team its still similar. He's not an MVP. Either way you look at it stats or "value" Manning dominates both.
If you take Manning off the Colts and put a decent QB on there, they are a 3 or 4 win team.

Do you guys know what the "V" in MVP is for? Valuble not the best and Drew Brees is the most VALUBLE player in the league right now to his team. :peace:
Tomlinson is San Diego's most valuable player.

Tomlinson had as good of years as this year in each of his first few seasons and the Chargers still sucked, why????? Because Brees sucked, this year Brees is incredible and thus the MVP of the Chargers and the league.
