I think people forget what the definition of MVP is. He is the guy who is more valuable to his team than any other player on any other team. It is not the best offensive player, they have an award for that. No one has been more valuable to his team (real life or fantasy ;) ) than Brees has to the Chargers. Without him, they would not be 6-3, the would be lucky to be 4-5 |

Wow, some of you guys are f*ckin stupid. Brees isnt the MVP of his team, Gates is. Take Brees off the team in 2 years and they'll be pretty much the same. Manning is gonna throw 55 TD's this year. Take Manning off the team. You aint got sh*t. Manning hands down |

Have you a-holes LOOKED at Manning's numbers? He should just stop playing right now. I'd suck Trevor's uncle's dick if the Giants had a QB throw 31 touchdowns in a season. He's on pace for 50+ touchdowns (that pace will slow, but barring injury he's a lock for 45), close to 5,000 yards, and only about 12 intercpetions. I can't even get those numbers NLF 2K5. You're f*cking buggin' if you say the MVP is anyone but Manning. And I'm so against that whole "value" bullsh*t. The MVP is the LEAGUE'S most valuable player. That's the mother f*cker who puts up the best numbers. Numbers help your team win. Give me Brady (or McNabb over Peyton) in a clutch spot, but there's no way in hell they can get MVP when Manning will DOUBLE their production. Read this and end the discussion: 1. Peyton Manning 2. Terrell Owenes 3. Drew Brees 4. Donovan McNabb 5. Tiki Barber 6. Daunte Culpepper 7. Ben Roethlisberger And I'm tempted to add Ed Reed to the list, but I'd be kissing that ass a little too much. Remember who called it first, from last year. When everyone was slurping down Roy Williams' sweat, I said that Ed Reed and Darren Sharper were both better. I was right. But Ed Reed is amazing. You can't be more of a playmaker than him. If that jackass on his team had been blocking instead of staring at Ed or atleast not shoved Carter in the back, Reed takes another one to the house, from the other endzone. He's the man! |

You could put a lot of QBs into that offense (the Colts) and get a similar outcome, im not saying Manning isnt not one of the best, if not the best QB in football.....But if you take Brees off the Chargers then they are stuck with a rookie QB who wouldnt know what the hell to do. BREES IS THE MVP |
