Your thinking of Joselo Diaz, another guy who came over in the Burnitz deal who is not longer in the Mets Organization. J. Diaz was a catcher who was converted to a pitcher because of his weak hitting and strong arm |

From this morning's New York Post: Interestingly, right fielder Victor Diaz spent some time catching in the Dominican League Sunday. That could be another sign that the Mets could be preparing for a possible Mike Piazza departure. |
