If so, did you hear if Jody Macdonald was fired today. Someone told me today that Mike and the Maddog had mentioned that Jody Mac was fired and that Joe Benigno would be taking his place next to sid. I also heard that Joe and SId would be moving to the YES network as well.

Why not? YES just shows repeats during their time slot. It would be a great deal.

Sorry, I didn't know this was posted in the MLB thread. But Francesa and Russo were making it seem like they were moving to YES.

I don't think that Joe and Sid would make for a good team. Sid's an a-hole and going by what I think of Joe (who I like), the two of them would go off on tangents talking about old sh*t and how much the Mets and Jets have sucked over the years. It might just be me, but Benigno's rants are best served solo. Also, I think the next host in the ranking is Adam Schein and I think that he'd take over the 1-5:30 AM slot. I can't go to bed listening to that jackass. His arrogance scheins (cheesy pun intended) through, his jokes aren't funny, he interrupts and talks over callers, and I'm sick of hearing the f*cking word "nugget". His show is a nugget...of sh*t. WFAN would be better of hiring me to do the early morning show. I guarantee that you'd rather listen to me for 4 hours than AS.

i do agree that joe is better solo but he's getting a great chance right now, sh*t from the overnight to right before mike and chris, he's pretty much hit the big time, as for schein i hate his guts too, just like you i can't stand when he talks over people and doesn't let them finish their point, that sh*t is really annoying! i hate chris carlin too, that fat a-hole is a jerk and he thinks he knows everything, i'd just let steve somers do the overnight, he's funny and everyone seems to like him!!!

Acctually it will be Chirs Carlin doing the early morning 1am-5am. I dont really like Beningo that much. He's very annoying. But Sid is pretty good, and I like Jody I dont know why they had to fire him. Does anyone know when this will be in effect?

i knew one day espn radio would be interested in beningo but this was a smart move by FAN, this will increase the ratings for the 10am-1pm time slot, beningo has come from the bottom all the way to the top, good for him!!!
