Sure the Giants fu<ked up today, but if you told me before the season the Giamts would be 5-3, i'd say you were nuts. So, we can only hope that they can match that & the Giants should be in the playoffs. Also, if the Giants lose there next game because of Kurt i want Eli in. Why wait, if the Giants fall to say 5-5 before a change, it may be too late. Green Bay & the Rams will be right there for the WC, the Giants still have conrtol of there own destiny, hopefully they beat the Cards next week & get back on track. |

LT, you can't look at it like that. Before the season, nobody predicted 5-3 at the halfway point, but its not "before the season" anymore. Since the season began, the team has shown that they're capable of being better than what we had expected and they were 5-2 (should have been 6-1). Its like you have two tests coming up. A physics test that you know you're not prepared for, its your worst class, and you expect to fail. You somehow ace the test. The second one is a history test. You're prepared, you love the class, and you should be able to score atleast a 90. You fail that test. If you "look at the big picture", you can say that since you didn't think you'd pass the physics test and you expected to be 50/50 at the end of the week, it doesn't matter how you come out 50/50 because it evened itself out. I think that's silly. Since you were so damn fortunate to have passed the physics and have yourself in position to ace the easy one, your expectations should have raised to 100/0. I'm not gonna be less upset (my swollen right ring finger won't let me) because they beat the Vikings and Packers and Cowboys and Redskins. We expected losses, but that didn't happen. It doesn't change the fact that they should have beaten the Bears. |
