I say Kerry wins the election. There's a bunch of swing states available for the taking, and I think Kerry will get an important state like Ohio even if he doesn't get Florida. Bush would need to get a bunch of the other swing states to make up for losing Ohio's 20, which I think is unlikely. Kerry will end up with like 275 of the needed 270 electoral votes to win. Factors that have made me reach this conclusion 1. Redskins lost 2. My father the jinxer that never gave Boston a shot to win has predicted Bush will win quite arrogantly(Will he ever learn to shut up and be humble) 3. The fact that this is going to be a close election again, with various polls giving this race a tie or a slight lead to Bush, and it seems likely that more voters will turn around to click Kerry's name this time around. |

I think Bush will win simply because I see him taking Ohio and Florida. The Redskins game would have given me hope, if Boston hadn't just rewritten history a few weeks ago. Not only that, I see him winning fairly convincingly. 289-259. |

I think it's idiocy every time someone refers to the Redskins game. Yeah, so history has gone ONE way the last 70-some years....big deal. I just laugh every time I hear someone say "Oh sh*t, the Redskins lost....it's Kerry's election! Even Kerry himself referred to it yesterday. BTW, I'm not making any predicitions. Bad luck. |

I was half-kidding about the Redskins loss deciding the election in my eyes. The real factor is my dad, the jinx, saying he believes Bush will win. My dad just has a skill of being wrong like none other. |

Well, I'm superstitious when it comes to things like that, but I just have a feeling that none of that sh*t matters this time around. I don't know why. |

270towin.comMy honest prediction is a Kerry win, I know, surprising.... Kerry will win Florida, which is the single most important battleground state. I also see him winning Ohio and Penn. That is it, he would need no other battleground state. You can play around with the EC here.... . The voter turnout in the most important states will also be beneficial to Kerry. Bottom line is there are too many people in the country who just hate Bush. However, im keeping my fingers crossed. |

And timo, you're acting like LFW when you say "everyone that votes for Bush is stupid"......that's not cool. You're saying people are stupid for having their opinions on who should lead? I could turn around and call you stupid for supporting Kerry. I know how much you'd love that. |

Can we please avoid the inflammatory political comments? I specifically put that on the topic, since I know how quickly these can get out of hand. Predictions aren't supposed to involve insults. |

Fine. I think it's too close to call. I can see scenarios in which both will win. |

if bush wins florida he won if not kerry won. Florida is way too close to call and different polls have different results. Unfortunatly gaddlup (the one with the g, the name is escaping me at the moment) has kerry ahead. |

I think you're talking about Gallup. The NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll on NBC Nightly News on Sunday night had Bush at 48%, Kerry at 47%, and Nader at 1%. |

Yes your right, if your looking at their LV sample which oversampled Republicans by 5%. If you look at Gallups RV sample where they still oversampled Republicans by almost 2%, then you'll see Kerry up 48-46 |

I will say some of the Red Sox Front Office attended a Kerry Rally in New Hampshire yesterday and showed their support for him. And Curt Schilling was supposed to appear with the president at a rally but couldnt cause of his ankle. But he did record a phone message in support of bush to send to voters . . . . Who I want :dunno: Who will win Bush |

Regardless of who wins, it definitely will not be by a comfortable margin. There is so much division in this year's election. I cannot see a clear cut winner resulting from this turmoil |
