David Wells will be a Yankee within 11 Days...Lieber and or Halsey going to S.D....the haggle is they want Cano or Navarro as a throw in ..NO WAY on the throw ins.. Trust me on this ...this sauce is Golden.. |

Maybe the orig waiver trade was Wells to Boston and so they couldn't block this one. Or perhaps since they already blocked another and claimed the player (Myers), that may also have had some effect... (?) Waiver's rules seem quite mysterious. |
