Let's look at this, he currently has 208 career wins at the age of 35. Next year he will be 36 and I will "only" give him 2 more wins this year which leaves him at 210, 90 shy entering next year. So, if he pitches 5 more years which takes him to 40 years of age he has to average 18 wins a year to do it. Doesn't look good for the reason being he's won 15.3 games a year on average in his previous 13 seasons. You can take it one step further though. If he decides to pitch until he's 41 he has to average 15 wins a year.......I think it's all about how long he wants to pitch.......he's always been healthy in his career til this year. |

I think he can do it if he wants to do it. He's been very consistent over his career and 15 wins for the next 6 years doesn't seem that hard for him. He just needs to stay healthy. |

No. He's lost a lot off his fastball since he switched to the Peanut butter and cracker diet. :serious: In the words of our immortal leader, BC "He's done"! :P |

It's silly to ask this now because of the year he has had. Everybody is going to say no! I have to see what he does next year to answer this. If he can get back to "18-7 3.60" then it's safe to say he has a chance. If he pitches the way he did this season, before getting injured, then he has as much of a shot at 300 as Randy Keisler. |

It all depends on if he wants too. I think if he pitches like he did LAST season for the rest of the year, he'll finish with about 270-280 wins for his career. Then it all depends on if it's important enough for him to come back. |

Its not gonna happen. First off, he'll never win 20 games. At his pace, he would have to play longer than I think he will. To me, he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would hang around until he's 42, chasing a milestone. I don't know how many years he has left on his deal, but I think he retires after that. |

If Moose's win total was currently 220, I would still say no. 80 more wins is a lot. |

By the way, not to take this off topic, but Danye was awesome the other night. I think he's going to have a BREAKOUT YEAR! And I'm no Giants fan. :peace: |

This signature was meant as a joke, but I do think that Dayne will have a decent year. Not because anything has changed with him (a little more speed), but becaus Coughlin is going to use him more. When Dayne was used enough here, he was somewhat productive. Disappointing, but he did run for 700 yards in his first season and I think he had 7 or 8 touchdowns in his second year, being used as the 1st & goal man. If you give any running back enough carries, he's gonna do something. Coughlin is gonna give him an opportunity and he's gonna do something. Nothing big (I'd predict 195-200 carries/700 yards), but something. Vin, I assume you quoted what I said about Mussina because you agree with it. |

I doubt that Mussina will not reach The 300 win mark, because He is not the same as He was in the past. |

I think he could return to his old form though, King. However, I see 300 as very far off. He'd have to want to pitch into his 40s. Post more, King! :worthy: |

 Moose hasn't been able to win 20 games on a team that has had over 100 wins every season that he's been here. |
