Time for A Six Man Rotation; Once Moose in Back

Time to evaluate and string out our pitchers and I believe in the long run will be good down the stretch. First of all, I don't want to overwork El Duque and save him for Oct. Brown is Brown, getting older every day (but hella of a pitcher). Moose probably won't like this set up but like GM Mantle Murcer indicated in a previous post, I don't expect a returning Mussina in 2005.

A 6-man rotation is not happening.

Not according to old man river, we're trading him back to the O's for prospects that we are going to turn around and use to get Guardado! :agent:

So I guess the Yankees are reading our posts. It's about time.....

It's only for a turn or two, not for the rest of the season!

More or less this will decide if Lieber or Loaiza goes to the Pen. My bet is Loaiza.

I missed the game because I was at work. I haven't looked at the stats yet because I just got home. How bad was it?

He was pretty good the first 4 innings, but the 5th he sucked, and Enrique "Selfish a-hole" Wilson's dropped pop up didn't help.

And all he did was throw cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter. All game, he did not throw anything else!!

I thought Mel was working with him to get him to mix things up? :???:

Get him the hell off my team! I'll start with a one way ticket to the pen at this point. <_<

Try to put Loaiza through waivers and trade him to Florida... after trading Penny, they could use a starting pitcher. ;)

I agree, send Loaiza to the bull pen, what Torre is doing is delaying the innevitable(sp?)

I'm not being biased or anything because I love El Duque, but you can't argue with the results. He did a nice job against Texas, a good offense in a hitters' ballpark. Unless Leiber sucks his next 3 outings, Loaiza will be in the pen.
