How about bringing in magglio ordonez and having Floyd play 1b? Piazza has declined enough offensively that making sure he plays close to 162 games should no longer be a top priority. Just let him catch like he obviously wants to.

Floyd said he wants no part of first base again since the injury he suffered in Boston playing first.

um he injured himself against the mets... i think it was hundley who did it to him

It wasn't with Boston. It was early on, during his first stint with Montreal.

yeah we corrected that, wba is right, it was hundley that injured floyd at first when cliff was with the expos!!!
