I know the Yankees are playing pretty good ball, but for once I'd like to see a middle relief guy or a lefty specialist do his job when called upon. Another thing I'd like to see is a new defense strategy backing up Mo when he's pitching. I'm tired of these bloops for base hits. :please: |

I think the idea when they come in is to do well.
So something like that 4 outfielder alignment that nygirl841 was looking for? |

No, he's saying something like move the infeild back or something. It won't work with the outfeild because if he hangs a cutter(or whatever you do wrong with a cutter) and someone jacks it, it could be an ISTP homer. On edit: It won't work with the infeild either because the first baseman has to be able to take the throw, and the third baseman has to guard against the bunt on certain occasions, I guess you can mess around with the middle infeilders. |

Hey bro, remember how that nygirl wanted Kotsay so bad......I'm not saying we should have traded Bernie for him like she said, but how nice would it to have Kotsay in CF and Bernie at DH. |

Yeah, although she said it when Bernie was still great and Kotsay was just a good defensive player. She liked Kotsay because she said he was cute and had a nice ass. She also wanted that 4 man outfield. |

For once I'd like to see: The Yankees offense score 10 runs, without the homerun. Bunching together a bunch of singles and doubles, clutch hitting w/ RISP, and take full advantage of easy RBI opportunities (runner at 2B w/ no outs). In that same game, I'd like to see the starter throw a shutout. |

I'd like to see us retaliate. We always get hit and never return the favor. |

Today was pretty close. And it's really hard to score 10 runs without a HR! |

Especially with every hitter in the line up capable of hitting the long ball. In September(when the Yankees clinch it all) the Yankee pitchers should just hit all the major stars on the teams they play. |

We'd have to bring in some tough hardnosed pitchers and ass kicking position players to back him up. Plus Joe would have to be retired. |

Good points. And maybe why the Yanks have less players losing down time too... |

Can't wait till Karsay comes back, plus.. Why didn't Nose Torre give Brad Halsey a chance as the lefty scrub? Today's game was a perfect opportunity to see what he could do. ;) |
