1. Who the hell in the stadium can make out the words in these songs? With the stadium noise and the way the blast the tracks, you can't hear sh*t. I only know them because I know most of the songs. 2. I'm not sure of the name, but on the album its title "Interlude". "Hov" is short for "Jayhova, The God of Rap". A nickname Jay-Z has earned. He talks about his past a lot. He doesn't promote or encourage the lifestyle and he said as much in the third verse of "Izzo". In most music (any genre), you talk about your life experiences. He used to sell crack (rocks) in high school. He's the CEO of Roc-A-Fella Records. 3. You are a Slum Village fan. Don't make me, don't make me go dig for the lyrics to "Selfish". -------------------------------------------- There's nothing wrong with "Clocks". Its on my top 300 list. Good song. I would not bang Gwyneth Paltrow. She is so damn overrated. :no1: ---------------------------------------------- Ruben: "I lie di waaaaaaay joo moo. La, la, la. I lie di waaaaaay joo moo." No offense to spanish people. |

MTV is much more of a bad influence than a 10 second blurb of a song at The Stadium. |

Any kid who allows music or video games to have a negative influence on him is either a stupid, gullibe a-hole or was already a rotten seed and is using it as an excuse. I grew up watching R and X rated movies at 6 years old. I was playing Mortal Kombat at 8. Still, I turned out to be the best citizen the world could ask for. My favorite song is "Stan" by Eminem. Its about an obsessed fan who for a bunch of reasons can't get in contact with his idol and he decides to kill himself and his pregnant girlfriend. Well, I haven't met Art Garfunkel, but I didn't kill myself. Common sense steps in. If a child is too young to decipher what's what, then the parents should either keep them away from it or explain it. In relation to stadium music, the kid is not hearing it, doesn't care, and it lasts 5 seconds. * Its time to start putting the blame on dumbass parents and weak-minded children. You didn't rob that liquor store because Eminem said so. You did it cuz you wanted to. And if you did it because you heard it in a song, then you're a f*cking fool. Don't blame Judas Priest for your son killing himself. Blame your son for being a f*cking idiot. |

Stan...great song. also i want to quote eminem, he makes a good point in his song when he says "They say music can alter moods and talk to you But can it load a gun for you and c*ck it too? Well if it can, then the next time you assault a dude Just tell the judge it was my fault, and I'll get sued" Hit the nail right on the head. |

"Sing For The Moment". He's said stuff like that in interviews and in a bunch of songs. "Criminal" is an entire song about people taking it literally and doing what's described in the songs. In "Role Model" he says that he ties a rope to his penis and hangs himself from a tree. You gonna do it? Its not music, movies, and video games, its f*cking fools.
I thought you was down wit da shiznit, dawg? |

Remember two years ago when Manny got the guy in charge of the music fired when he requested a song that had profanity and drug references in it? The guy was dumb enough to play it, but still. |
