I've said he sucks THIS SEASON, which was true earlier in the year.
He was pitching with those stupid parasites. There's a reason he would always get tired in the 4th and 5th innings, and he was still 7-1!
The guy is now 9-1 with a 3.60 ERA, he had a 2.39 ERA last season with the Dodgers, they guy is a flat out nasty pitcher. What we have seen the last 2 starts is the real Kevin Brown, not the guy who was pitching with parasites and couldn't get out of the 6th inning earlier in the season.
But nah, he gave up 4 runs to the Rangers, so "He sucks". :serious:

I just said that he doesn't suck. But, the guy had an ERA over 4 earlier in the year, for a pitcher like him, tha does suck. Thankfully he looks healthy now.
See, even when I'm positive you people give me crap. So what is the point of making positive posts?

Stop hating on brown! He's a true ace when healthy!
No one was hating on Brown. we're just pointing out that he isn't a top 5 pitcher.
I never said that but you guys are making it seem like there's 20 pitchers better than him when there really aren't !!!!
I can think of 6 or 7 pitchers that are better than him, and another group of pitchers that I would consider equal to him. I'm not trying to take anything away from Brown.
moyer is not better then brown but the pitchers that timo mentioned are, lets stop wearing the homer shades (like juan is) and lets be real, nobody is hating on brown but there are pitchers that are better then him, plain and simple!!!
Talk about homer shades!! This is coming from a guy saying glavine is the ace! now he sucks! now he's the ace agian! Stop talking with your foot in your mouth!!!
last time i checked that's not called being a homer, that's called being a realist, glavine was the ace of the mets but not anymore, that title belongs to leiter!!! :peace:

No, Benson is just a #4/5 starter.
Rick Peterson is going to turn Zambrano into the ace! (5.1 IP 6 Runs today)

zambrano is a #2 or #3 at best but lets remember the mets defense pretty much let all those runs score today, why do you think glavine has only 8 wins this season, why is it that trachsel only has 9 wins this season besides his stupidity, it's all for the same reason, bad defense and no hitting and lets also remember zambrano did win the game today!!! :peace:

He only gave up 3 earned runs, and none after the first inning.
It wasn't his fault McEwing and the rest of the Mets couldn't field the ball today.

First off Brown was the "ACE" of the '97 Champion FLA Marlins, not Al Leiter. So whoever suggested Leiter in this conversation, let's stop. Secondly the man has had ERA's under 3 in 6 of his 15 years that he's been a full time starter. For heaven sake this cat has a career ERA of 3.16 and is as nasty as he wants to be. The whole statement was "when healthy" and he's proved in his career when he's in good health he's a front line ace and one of the best in the game. PERIOD. My god, someone please show me a bunch of guys who had a year like he did in '96. He's a stud! If the man would have gotten some run support he would have easily won 22 games!!!!!!! People tossing Brown aside acting like he isn't one of the top pitchers in the game.....I got one thing to say...Niggah Please. :please: And I'm not being a homer, you would never see me say Pettitte or Mussina was ever one of the top 5 pitchers in the game. Brown is nasty!

When timo brought that up, I think he was saying how Leiter could be included in the list of top pitchers this year when healthy.....I don't think he was comparing him directly to Brown.

PERIOD. My god, someone please show me a man who had a year like he did in 1996. Brown is nasty!
where did you come from, lol you thought jose c. was the ace of the yankees :lmao: this season so i won't even bother listening to you!!! :peace:
Yeah really Vin....not many people will forget that you said that nonsense. :please:
I'm very loyal to "my boys", and to be honest KB isn't even one of my boys or a cat I'm going to tout out in one of my sig's. This is Vin being as real as it gets, not acting like a drunk clown.
Mmm-hmm....sure thing. :smirk:

Yeah, the cats that know me understand how I get. My god I had Enrique Wilson president of the cool cats club for a while. I'm a sucker for the crappy player on the bench, maybe because that's what I was in High School. :watery: I was one mean glove at 2B though!

Maybe that's why I like Jason Phillips so much.......he's like me.....I never played catcher, but I wasn't an every-day player, I couldn't hit at all, and wasn't exactly the defensive specialist. :serious:
