well produce adn you won't be moved. if the organization had balls he would be at 2nd base. i mean tonight bagwell is batting 6th. do you ever think piazza would bat 6th??

i mean the mets just let the players tell them what to do. adn it hurts them that they can't move matsui, can't trade piazza, adn can't release franco.

grow a pair and we could be a better team.

b/c that isn't best for the team. moving matsui to 2b would be putting the best defense on the field and that leads to more wins.

Where you bat in the lineup is a completely different thing than switching positions.

Would they move Bagwell to 3rd base? No

when you are an offensive threat who will go into the HOF as a offensive player batting 6th does hurt you. believe me bagwell wasn't happy about moving.
maybe matsui should step up and be a man and say, "reyes can reach first base in the air, so maybe we should switch positions."

if the mets do something like that it would show would be free agents that they are a bunch of liars and go back on their word, alot of players don't like that sort of stuff and free agents to be wouldn't want to sign with a team like that!!!

if kaz says something that's different, some of the blame has to go to kaz for not doing what's best for the team!!!

Look at Wiggy, he was played in every position imagineable and he didn't complain once. Piazza has been flip-flopping between 1st and Catcher, and he hasn't complained once. Cameron has bat 8th for many parts of the season when there were obviously worse hitters hitting ahead of him and he didn't complain about that. Cliff Floyd was struggling with Lefties so he went to Art Howe and asked him to bat him down in the order. Get it? The team must come before your ego.

Kaz should be the one telling Art Howe to move him. But he's not, so Art Howe should move him. If Kaz doesn't like it, tough. It has come out that there was no written agreement between the two sides mandating that Kaz must play SS this season. It was strictly verbal. But it should also be noted that the Mets were expecting a fine defensive player when they signed him, and they haven't got it. The Mets have every right to move Kaz NOW.

look the mets made an agreement with him, the mets are doing the right thing by honoring that agreement, i do agree about kaz though, he should come up to art howe and tell him to make the switch but he's not so that's his fault not the organization's!!!

But the agreement was strictly verbal and in that agreement the Mets assumed they were getting a top defensive shortstop in return. Since they haven't got that top defensive shortstop, they have right to back out of that agreement! It's that simple.

As for Kaz, yes, he should ask Art Howe to play him at 2nd, but that would be asking a lot for a guy that's played his entire career at SS. So, for that, I can't completely blame him. The Mets should make the change, because as I stated above, they wouldn't be doing anything morally wrong. Instead, they hold loyalty for no reason. :no1:

They wont want to sign with a team that doesn't do what it takes to win either. Players these days want to go to winning teams.
