Is their any pitcher that Bernie CAN hit anymore? I would have figured he could actually handle Chris Hammond.

Now we gotta watch Hammond shut us down.

God, I hate this offense. Thank God we don't face Chicago anymore this year or else we'd have to watch this POS offense go down like flies against Contreras.

A-Rod sucks ass. The guy is a born loser. There's not a clutch bone in his body.
Wrong yet again BC! What else is new! :peace:

Wow, when we go on our next road trip we should just leave Bernie in this last city we play in. The guy is just a joke now.

He gets worse and worse every at bat. He's useless. Picture Robin Ventura as a 56 year old swinging a bat underwater. That's how Bernie is swinging the bat now.

Someone got made fun of for suggesting Bernie be traded for Mark Kotsay on the MSG board. Looks to me like our team would be a lot better with Kotsay in CF over Blundering Bernie
I remember that. I don't remember exactly who it was though. It was someone like Zeilerules. Someone regarded as the board moron. I think it was said during the 2002 season. Hindsight's _______, because Bernie hit .333 that season.
I know you guys won't agree with me, but I still don't think that Bernie is done. The bat speed is still there, he's still drawing walks and showing discipline at the plate, and there was the hotsreak. He's playing like sh*t now and every worthless pop up w/ runners on or rally killing DP gets my blood boiling, but I think the hitting skills are still there. This is not just me sucking his dick because he's my favorite player (I've said that the team would be better off if he retired at the end of the season), I really don't think he's done. He'll be back next season and we'll see how he does.

Yeah, it was nygirl841. She wanted Kotsay because he was cute and had a nice ass, plus she wanted a 4 man outfield like in softball!

Bernie should retire but he doesn't want to leave all that money on the table. Big Mac quit when he had 30 million coming to him. These 4 games we play with Toronto should be the last 4 games of his career. He should go out playing in front of the NY fans.

He'll be back next season and we'll see how he does.
zeilerules wouldn't have said that. She was a met and Zeile fan.
It was. She thought Kotsay was cute.
We're not talking about Kotsay. :dunno:
You're not!? :???:
I meant the zeilerules-like person. How can people be so disrespectful of Bernie after all he's done for this team. Then again look who is, not a shock.
I can't believe all this Bernie sh*t I'm hearing. It's making me sick. :no1:
Bernie should retire but he doesn't want to leave all that money on the table. Big Mac quit when he had 30 million coming to him. These 4 games we play with Toronto should be the last 4 games of his career. He should go out playing in front of the NY fans.
What a dumbass

Bernie is contributing to this team, despite what you think. Yes his BA, RBIs, and HRs are down, but his OBP is in the .370s. He's still helping this team, even though he isn't where he once was. Bernie is NOT done.
