Norfolk unbeaten since Benson trade

Well, they lost Friday (because Pat Strange was pitching), but they've won 4 in a row since. Mostly because of the solid starting pitching and the performances of the demoted Yates and Wheeler. Perhaps one of the better parts of the two deals is we now have immediate help available in Norfolk when needed.

Our Norfolk rotation is now:
Heilman
Musser
Keppel
Keisler
Seo

with Yates as the main set-up man and Wheeler the 6/7 inning man.

Are Musser and Keppel anywhere near ready for the majors?

Musser is a year away. Keppel maybe 2 or 2.5, they rushed him

5 in a row now. Strange (not sure why Seo wasn't pitching) started yesterday and the bullpen held it down! Norfolk now over .500. 5 games out of 1st.

The problem with the Norfolk team is that the position players are old and the pitchers were rushed
