Orton: The New....
![]()

That just shows you how much of a cutthroat Boston is! They deserve to lose Nomahhhh. Nomar was to boston what jeter is to the yankees (yet they back stabbed nomar with the arod thing while the yanks showed class by keeping jeter at short). P.S. Hey Nomahhhh ... the yankees will probably be looking 4 a 2nd basemen next year...so don't be shy :smirk: :peace: |

Hell yeah, keep us in mind Nomar. What better way to stick it to the Sox! :agent: |

No fu<king Nomar next year. Pitching, pitching, pitching, boobies, pitching, and more pitching. That's what we need. |

Just say no to Nomar. Agreed, especially the part about pitching and boobies. |

I don't get why some of you want Nomar at 2b so much........wouldn't you rather try to acquire a real second baseman? |

that's not the way the yankees do business, they want every superstar player they can have, they want a superstar at every position!!! |

I think Justin was referring to the Yankees as a team wanting superstars at every position, not you fans. |

We already have one, Miguel Cairo.
There's a problem with that. The best FA pitchers are Pedro (Do you really want him?), Matt Morris, and Carl Pavano. This isn't the best FA crop. |

There never seems to be a good crop of FA pitchers anymore. I'd take a look at Morris, Clement, and Pavano. Maybe roll the dice on Armas too. We should spend every fu<king dollar on pitching over the offseason. |

Clement is trash. Morris has an ERA of almost 5. Pavano is the only one I'd really be interested in. Brad Radke could be a nice option too. |

Isn't Radke 115 years old? (Seems like it. He's been around for a long time.) This is the first off year Morris has had. |

He's 31. Morris would be terrible in the AL, at least not in my opinion. Odalis Perez could be an option too, if he's healthy. |

Morris & Pavano sound good to me. Getting Nosemar would be a little over the top, but I'll take it if we get the pitching squared down first. :peace: |
