I was about to say that Walker's expiring salary would save us a good $15 million, but then I realized we'd still be around $38 million over it. :laugh: |

Exactly. If the Knicks were close to the cap amount, I'd love to take expiring contracts and finally rebuild. However, they are so far over it that letting one player walk, leaving them still way over the cap, actually hurts them more than helps them since they wouldn't be able to replace that player with one of the same or higher caliber. |
