We've done a whole lot of um.... nothing. :dunno: Nobody wants to trade for any available Knick players. Can you blame them? |

I'd give it an "Incomplete" because the off season isn't over yet. Dampier and Crawford are rumored but nothing has happened and we haven't heard anything new. We'll just have to wait. If we land Crawford alone: B If we get Dampier alone: A- If we get both Dampier and Crawford: A+ (considering what Isiah has to work with) |

Seriously, how much interest could one possible have in guys like Othella, Anderson, or Moochie. I doubt we can do anything which would be a shame because Isiah promised he would do something. |

even if Isiah does nothing & holds onto his trade chips until the trade deadline, i'd have no problems w/it, because there will be teams looking to dump contracts when they are out of the playoff hunt by then & Isiah will still be able to get himself a good player. |

I agree with Strider's grades. We have to wait and see what Isiah is able to pull off, if anything. |

What "grade" can be assigned if he doesn't do anything? |

I wouldn't go too hard on Isiah for it because the bad contracts were Layden's doing, so I would go with a C, which denotes average. |

My grades: A D if he doesn't get anything done. A C if he gets Crawford but gives up too much (ex: Othella, Mutombo, FW, Cesary, and pick(s) for Crawford, JYD). A B if he gets Crawford for a fair price (ex: Moochie, Mutombo, FW, Cesary for Crawford, JYD). A B+ if he does real well in the Crawford deal (ex: Moochie, Mutombo, DerMarr, Cesary for Crawford, JYD) An automatic A if he pulls off a Dampier deal (ex: Kurt, Othella & $3 MM for Dampier) |
