according to ESPN, Vince is demanding a trade and he prefers to go to NY at his top option. Isiah would offer them anything but Marbury. That would be crazy with Marbury and Carter, even though we will still have Nazr at the center position. Oh well. Let's get Tractor Traylor  |

Outside of creating a buzz and selling jerseys (which is Dolan's top priority) Vince doesn't add much to our team. Unless Allan Houston is sent to Toronto, you have another perimeter shooter. Carter is my favorite player, but the Knicks don't need him. Our Needs Defense: No Toughness: No Athletism: Yes Inside Presense: No Rebounding: No He's also an injury risk. Vince is fragile. When he's going up for a 360, instead of being excited at SportsCenter's #1 on the top 10, I'm thinking, "Oh damn, be careful Vince. Don't land awkwardly." I don't want that. That's one of the reasons I don't want Camby. Isaiah should just put that out of his mind for now and worry about Erick Dampier. |

well, of course he adds a new part to our team. Taking away injuries ( i think he will be healthy), he'll actually be the next consistent scorer the team needs. We can use Carter's athletic game in NY. UNlike HOuston who only knows how to shoot perimeter jumpers, he does know how to DUNK (see Houston who hasn't dunked in a year) and does have an inside game. He will help our team if he's there next year.
Well, he plays better defense overall than Houston has ever done. He is as tough as him. He does have an inside presence unlike Houston and is a much better rebounder than him. Also, he's 6 years younger than him and well rounded who piles up assists and rebounds.[/color] |

i would love to have carter but i don't think the raptors would want houston and others in return, unless isiah could pull off some kind of 3 way deal!!! |
