according to the NY times, Dice is interested to come back to NY, and Isiah likes Doleac becasue he clicked w/ Stephon. One question, if Doleac is signed, that means Mutombo and/or Baker's gone, if Dice is signed, that makes Sweetney worse. I want Sweetney to play all the time |

If Dice is healthy, he's a great fit for the Knicks. But that's a huge if. |

He'll probably cost more than that, but I'd be thrilled to get him for the MLE. |

Fu©k McDyess. When you wash your hands clean of someone who is a constant question mark, you keep your hands clean. Let him go revive his career somewhere else. Same thing for Camby. His athletism and defensive skill is what the Knicks need, but I don't want to go into every game worrying about him getting hurt. The Knicks don't have good luck so there's no reason to gamble. I'm all for bringin Doleac back though. He and Star developed a good rapport on those pick-n-rolls. §hit ain't be executed that well since Malone and Stockton. |

he might have a good jumpshot off the pick and roll, but that's it. He's not a player in the paint and can't do much on D either. ANd by the way, maybe the Knicks should learn to do pick and rolls to the basket like teams did in the playoffs, not to the perimeter |

There's a lot of stuff the Knicks need to learn to do. They're still not a good team. Outside of Marbury, they don't attack the basket, they don't get spacing, don't look to draw fouls, play disgusting perimeter defense, aren't physical, aren't strong in the low post, can't get stops in crucial positions, and aren't a good enough rebounding team. I don't know if its the players or the coaches just don't stress that stuff. We all know that Doleac doesn't play defense and has no inside presense. I've never seen him post up and hit a layup before. He's strictly a jumpshooter and actually, before Marbury came here and got him some wide open shots, his jumpshot was inconsistent. Still, he's the type of guy that can come off the bench and provide a spark. He's more of a power forward than a center and if Sweetney is the starter next season, then Doleac off the bench would be a good change-up in styles. |

You forget about Shandon Anderson, but I think we all don't want to remember what he does when he drives to basket. |

When he attacked the basket, it was charging fouls. Then when he wasn't attacking the basket, it was clanked jumpshots. I'm still trying to figure out why he was starting them games. :no1: |
