What more can the Dolans do to screw up the Knicks? |

Where did you find this news? Perhaps they are making room for Mike Breen, who IMO is a lot more entertaining to listen to. Of course, if Dolan made the decision, I'm probably wrong to defend him. |

Well obviously Breen will get the job, but how do you figure he's more entertaining than Marv? Marv is a legend in the broadcasting business. |

Marv has just got tiring and I just feel it's time for a changing of the guard. I don't have a problem with the move. I do, however, have a problem with the guy who did it. |

MSG and the Dolans issued a statement saying that Marv Albert would not be back with the Knicks. I like Mike Breen more, but no one they have currently can replace Marv Albert. |

i wouldn't mind starks as play by play. Clyde is too boring! I didn't have a big problem with Marv Albert commentating |

Clyde has about 10 lines. Every play, every night, he just picks one to fill-in in that particular situation. He's so damn boring and sounds silly at times. If Greg Anthony was willing to give up his ESPN spot, I think he'd be a good analyst. He's a former Knick, has a good vocabulary, has a sense of humor, and knows his sh*t. Plus he hasn't been out of the game for over 20 years. Having him would really help Breen out. |

Greg Anthony fills in play-by-play with the Knicks already, so expect to see him sometimes. I really like the transition he has made from player to analyst. As for John Starks, vdf has to be kidding. Starks has trouble speaking, let alone being the play-by-play man for the Knicks. I wouldn't even want to hear him attempt to be the color analyst, but the thought of him doing play-by-play is downright comical. I love John Starks, but he just doesn't speak well. Hopefully he will improve, but I'd keep him doing the halftime work with Trautwig. Earl Monroe does a good job with the color when Clyde sits one out. Clyde is great. Anyone who has anything bad to say about Marv Albert's play-by-play work is clueless with a capital C. Dolan and the Garden should be ashamed of themselves for trying to reign in his criticisms of the Knicks and essentially pushing him out the door. What a joke. |
