Office Space is great and 100% accurate.  The stapler guy sits in the other department.  :P

there's one in every office.........

mine sits on the other side of my cubicle :crybaby:

So so true. It's interesting working around some complete freaks. It's sad when you realize that management REALLY is that silly and the office place really is like that. :serious:

I'm still waiting for someone to come by and ask me to fill out a TPS report.

One of ours does too, but the funniest part is that Michael Bolton, who is a computer programmer, didn't know what it meant!!!

I've never seen the whole thing, but I think it's kinda overrated....people go nuts over this movie and gush about how great it is....I guess if you have a job like that, it makes the movie better, but overall it is kinda overrated.

Once you've worked an office job and actually seen the whole movie, you will absolutely love it. I guarantee it.

Ditto on the PC LOAD LETTER problem.

Seriously, this thing is up there as high as Dilbert with anyone who works in that situation. That says a lot.

I'm waiting to one day hear, "so I see you've been missing a lot of work lately."

I'd respond, "Well, I wouldn't say, I've been missing it." :P :peace:

The tone in which Peter says that is absolutely classic!

We just moved to a new office a couple of months ago and now have external Caller ID (we always had internal). When I see it's one of my friends calling, I usually answer my phone, "Peter Gibbons."

I only do it if I know it's one of my friends calling!

The other day Nick Jett (a poster here, who is a friend of mine) called and I answered it "Peter Gibbons" in the exact manner Peter answered his phone. Nick Jett asked for me because he didn't think it was possible it was actually me saying I was Peter and he had no idea we now have external caller ID. Good stuff.

I pulled this move when I saw a number I recognized this morning, but then the person asked in a serious tone for me (my real name). I got worried, got serious, then realized it is a chick I haven't talked to in awhile. When she asked for me after I answered using Peter's name, I got worried that I might have recognized the wrong number, and that it was a serious work call.

that movie is awsome, that pc load letter sh*t is great..I work in an office and i something want to destory the copier like they did..It gets jammed for no damn reason so many times..

The other part i like is when he telling those 2 guys what he does and he says he pretends like he is doing work but he is really spacing out...I sometimes do that as well..

That is a classic and if you worked in a office you would think so to

I was just reading this thread again and I have a question for the powers that be. Why the hell was Zero banned? You don't ban some people, but you banned Zero? He was fine. I liked that dude.

How was he a rat? I noticed it said he was IM'ing you. Were you behind the banning? I really used to like his contribution going back to the MSG days. His username back then is slipping my mind.

I liked him too. However, he did things that shouldn't be done, and could've gotten the board shut down.
