Seven weeks into the baseball season, Alex Rodriguez is getting more and more comfortable living and playing in New York: He's starting to hit to the opposite field, his defense at third base is sharp and he's settled into a place in Manhattan. He's even thinking about taking the subway.


"It's a dream job, a child's fantasy for him to be playing for the Yankees," says his wife, Cynthia, a clinical psychologist. "I've never seen him this content. He has a peace that he didn't know he was lacking. And now that he has it, it is so evident."

Hes been doing a great job at 3rd and now his hitting is really comming along. He only has 3 errors, same as Jeter at SS...ARod has suprised us all :D

I had a feeling A-Rod was going to be a very good third baseman, I didn't think he'd be as good as he is this quickly though. He's been awesome so far and it's nice to see his hitting coming along too, but I think we all knew he was going to hit.

He has a great, strong and accurate arm. :thumbup:

Yeah, I wasn't worried about A-Rod playing third. He's a gold glove SS, and now he'll be a gold glove 3B. I knew it would be a smooth transition.
