I don't think he's going on the DL. He will talk Joe into letting him play through it. He might miss a few games and start playing more DH from here on out, but I don't see DL for him. |

Put him on the 15 day. We can live without him. I rather have a healthy Giambi for 105 games than an injured Giambi for 120 games. |

We saw it. Why didn't Joe see it? He was behind and under every pitch and every at bat. |

We'll see, if this keeps up, then maybe he should. However if this is only a week long injury i'd hate to lose his bat for longer then we have to. |

Giambi also admitted he was stupid for not pulling himself out in the 5th inning. He said his back locked up after swinging. |

He needs to go on the DL and get healthy if he can't swing. He pulled this tough-guy-playing-through-pain crap last year and he hit .250 because of it. Torre also needs to be smart enough to realize that if he can't hit the ball, DL his ass!! |

But he won't. The same argument could be made about his refusal to bunt or check swing a ball down the 3B line. Just like "He was brought here to hit homeruns", "He was brought here to play." It might not be the smartest thing, but that's how it will go. btw - Why does this guy keep getting hurt? Injury plagued bastard. I want a refund on his ass. How come Todd Helton can keep himself healthy? How come there aren't steroid allegations swirling around Todd Helton? Did you know that Todd Helton played football? Todd Helton was the QB for the University of Tennessee. Todd Helton is the man! |

Helton is a good player, but look where He plays. Giambi would hit 60 HR's there. |

Its been said Helton has a chronic back problem similar to Mattingly's too. Helton is also younger and isn't likely going to have the post-steroid ailments like Giambi. |

Helton isn't much younger than Giambi. Giambi just turned 33 and Helton will be 31 in August. |

Maybe Giambi needs more of those smutty magazines you see at those newstands owned by Indians(dot, not feather). There's this one card store by me where I pick up my magazines and I always want to pick up one of those magazines but I feel like a total scumbag having to bring it to the register with some 80 year old Pakistani woman working the counter. I mean I've bought Playboy and sh*t but it takes guts to buy "Dark Chocolate" and "Lusty Latinas" I think what I should do is buy a New York Times or a Wall Street Journal with it so I look like an intellectual perve. |

His long term contract is going to turn out to be a detrament. His body is going to keep breaking down from 'roid withdrawal. He's the only person I know who has had a bad 40 HR season. |

LOL! I don't have that problem. I just get what I want, bring it to the counter, look them in the face, and pay for it. Give a serious look that says, "Yes, I will be masturbating and I have no shame!" The cahsier doesn't know or care about me and the feeling is mutual. If its someone that I'm gonna have to see often, then I'd feel bad. But its not. Who cares. Get your "Dark Chocolate" and "Lusty Latinas". If you're like me, you've been trying to get ahold of them since you were 12 or 13. Now that you're old enough, enjoy it. Don't let some old woman stand in the way. |
