Time and time again Posada always plays "heads up" and gets my vote for Hard Nose Player of the Year.

Although he's honing his game elsewhere for the time being, my vote would go to BC's favorite, Bubba Crosby!

i think Bubba's the most hardnosed player too...other than him, i'd say Gary Sheffield...he always runs out grounders hard & he looks like he can kick some major ass as well...after that, i'd say Miguel Cairo is next in line as far as style of play goes.

i kinda miss Karim Garcia.

Sheffield runs out grounders hard? And why does he look like he can kiss ass, cuz he's black? :D

My vote would go to either Posada or Kevin Brown. Both of them seem to be tough sumbitches.

i didn't count pitchers, otherwise i would have included Brown & Quantrill to my list also.

& yeah, Sheff runs out grounders hard...he's come close to beating out alot of them & has beat out double play balls as well...i haven't seen him really loafing out of the batter's box unless it was on a short pop up or something of that nature.

& what's w/the racist intonations all of a sudden? you know i'm about the biggest opponent of racism on these boards.

Intonations? If you're talking about the comment yesterday, I said right away that it wasn't you and that I had made it up to piss Rob and Drew off. I only said "It was TMS" because it was a weird coincidence that you showed up right after I said it. This one was just in good 'ol silly fun. That's why I put the smiley behind it. I know you're a big opponent of racism, that's why I didn't expect you to take it seriously. In the words of every celebrity who has said something wrong before, "I apologize if anyone was offended."

i know you were kidding...no need to apologize...i just don't get the relation behind the jokes & my comments...was there another joke that i'm not aware of that's leading to all this?
