Alright, the orange writing as a default had to go ASAP. Since ZetaBoards are rather new, there's not a lot of themes to choose from yet. So it might be a while until there is one made that looks exactly like the one we had on InvisionFree.

As of now, this is the best I could find. The blue one we had before with the ridiculous orange font color is still available and you can use it if you like. Also, when we add new themes in the future, you will not be forced to use it.

To change the theme, simply scroll down the page and click on the box that says "choose a theme" and select the one you want:

I was just curious to know if you guys were gonna make the switch to ZB anytime soon.

Due to the fact that we have lost so many posters over the last year, mostly Mets fans, we have decided that this place needs a new start.

We have decided to change our name, we will ne longer be known as Big Apple Sports. We also will not be a all New York sports board, we are going to focus on the Yankees. I know it sucks for the Mets fans that have hung around and stayed with us, but there are only about 2 of you left. You are welcome to stay, of course. But you will probably be happier posting with more Mets fans.

No posts will be lost, but they will be compressed. For example, Giants, Jets, and NFL Forums will all be combined. Same with hockey and basketball.

As it stands, this place is too big with not enough members who post. It's like 2 people living in a mansion with 13 bedrooms, it makes no sense. We need to compress everything so this place seems less like a ghost town. We also need to go out and recruit more Yankee fans. The staff will deal with recruiting more members, but if you know any Yankee fans, tell them about us.

I can't say how sorry we are to the few Mets fans that have stayed along with us. I feel really bad for you guys who continue to post news about your team. But face it, the only people reading what you posts are Yankee fans!

BAS had a great ride for 3 years, but a lot of us have just flat out stopped being on the computer all the time. I come on when I can, and a lot of others do too. It's just strange how we all started coming less and less all at the same time. There was a time about a month ago when there was like 1 or 2 new posts a day! This place was totally dead. At least now the Yankee forum is starting to come back to life, which is why we decided to focus on that.

Sorry again to the few Mets fans that have stuck around.

BAS is up to #2 on a google search for "Big Apple Sports."

When I used diff't computers that don't have it bookmarked, I always do a google search for that exact string.

Its been #6 for as long as I can remember, today it was up to 2. Drinks all around.

As of now, the clock on the the boards is an hour off. To fix this, go to Board Settings, and click the box next to "Is daylight savings time in effect?" Once you do this and press "Change account options," the time should be normal.

If the board images take a while to show up, it's because Photobucket, the site where the board's images are being hosted, is being slow.

If you click to edit your profile, there should be new options that will show up after a few seconds. There is a new field for your name and your gender. Be sure to fill this out. Age and location are put in if you filled in those fields.

InvisionFree had a problem with S3 (Server #3), but thanks to Duffman and his hard work all the S3 forums are back online.

Even though it was beyond our control, the staff would like to apologize. The board was not shut down and we did not violate anything. There was a server error and we're happy to be back up and running and talking hot stove baseball.

This thread will be used to let everyone know when our image hosting website is down temporarily, which will cause almost all the images on the board to not work.

This is just to alert everyone so nobody thinks that there's something wrong with the board. Check here if something appears to be wrong with the display of images.

As of now, the clocks are an hour ahead because we change our clocks today.

The board administrators have now enabled this option. Any registered memeber can enter the URL of a picture you want to use or you can upload a picture from your computer (no bigger than 500 x 500 pixels and 40 KB) here.

Your personal photo will then appear in your profile. will also appear next to your name on the member list.

If the photo violates the Big Apple Sports Code of Conduct or InvisionFree Terms of Service, the administrators reserve the right to remove it.

This is a great top quality board, with amazing activity levels. You have set it up very well and has a nice skin on there. To improve appearence request a new logo, the current one is bad quality, also request some new team icons. Otherwise you have a great board here, good luck!
