I hope he signs with the Knicks, the last thing I want to see is him playing all 82 games for the Celtics and that smug look on his face when they beat us in the Eastern Conference Semifinals or Finals next year and eventually win a championship. He stole money from my team for 7 years.
Re: Playing for the Celtics, especially winning with them: I agree. I couldn't take it.

Re: Smug look: Grant Hill is one of the classiest athletes of my lifetime. He's anything but smug.

Re: Stealing money from your team: He had terrible injuries. He actually should have just given up and retired after several of them, but he put himself through the pain and time to come back from every one of them. I am sure it made him sick that he couldn't team with T-Mac to bring the Magic back to the top of the NBA. Stealing money when injured is a guy like Pavano, who didn't go 100% to get back from injuries, was despised by his teammates, and seemed not to care the rare times he was around. Or stealing money is a guy who cashes in on one big year and then coasts through a big contract performing at a mediocre to subpar level. Grant Hill always give his all, is a great teammate, a winner, and a leader. He then took a very small deal (bi-annual exception) to play for the Suns when other teams would have given him more. Saying he stole money rubs me the wrong way.
You aren't an Orlando Magic fan, that's how most of us feel. You weren't waiting year after year for this go to play. Yeah, he tried hard to get back, he could have gave up and quit, that's great; I admire his heart to try and get back and play. He got paid a whole lot of money here with us then on his way out the door when he didn't want to accept a limited role with us he went to the Suns because "they gave him a chance at a championship" That's pretty funny, considering in his two years there he didn't get out of the first round his first year and didn't even make the playoffs his 2nd year. Meanwhile we got to the Semi's his first year gone and won the Eastern Conference that 2nd year, what a smart move to go to that "contender" Grant. I don't care for the guy. That's what rubs Magic fans the wrong way about him pretty much, the way he left for Phoenix like it was greener pastures. I thought he owed it to us to stick around and help us in anyway after years of sitting on the sidelines in a suit collecting a paycheck. Oh well, I should blame Gabriel for signing a man who was introduced at the press conference on crutches hobbling up to the podium with T Mac. Oh yeah, T Mac another one I despise.

Oh yeah, then the nerve of him and Shaq saying they want to buy the Magic down the road if and when DeVos sells, f*ck them. The one who ran for a few more dollars to LA to make movies and bad rap albums and the other who was sitting in a suit on the bench for most of his 7 year here and then having the nerve to say that he wants to leave for a "contender" Shove Grant Hill up your gumshoot. ;)

Take it for what is' worth, Kidd seems to believe Grant will end up in New York and wifey appears to pushing for him to go to NY as well.
