You wouldn't date her because she's not faithful to her current boyfriend? If she were faithful, you wouldn't have that choice anyway. What did you mean by "she's not faithful" if not a judgment of character? |

Honestly, Timmeh, you're trying too hard. I wouldn't date any female if she were not faithful to her previous boyfriends. |

I know what you're saying. I'm saying you'll be stuck exclusively with people who lie about their previous relationships if that's the attitude you take. |

Agreed. My response when she gave me the "I feel like a horrible person" bit: You honestly think you're the only one that's flirted with someone, via internet or otherwise, while in a relationship? I've been the one flirting, the one flirted with, and the one that found out his girlfriend was flirting. If that's unfaithful, then yes, your options are going to be very limited. Even if someone cheats on their significant other, I'm not going to flinch back and cross off that person as a possibility. Why? Cheating is usually a result of something being wrong in the relationship. It's not a good way to cope with or fix the problem, no, but it doesn't mean that they'll go cheating on their *insertgender*friend every time they're in a relationship. But yeah, I'm tired. And I've gotten to the point where I feel like my post stopped making sense. But just so I have something in here that's actually in reply to Tim's post: I'd rather be with someone that was unfaithful with their last boyfriend than someone who feels they have to lie about their last relationship. Lying to me is worse than being unfaithful with someone else. |

It's one thing if she runs around putting her vagina over every penis she can see (even then, maybe you're still compatible!), but like you said, flirting with someone (through fucking IM at that) is such an incredibly minor thing that you'd be silly to frown at her if you were her boyfriend, let alone disqualify her from your dating pool before you get to know anything else about her character. Anyway, as for the topic at hand, I think you have no obligation to anyone not to be with her. The only sacrifice you could make would be for the band, so you have to decide whether the off chance that you save the band by abstaining from asking her out. From my limited information, it seems like that chance isn't worth it. Just let her know you're interested too, and go out and get some dinner sometime. Might be the girl for you

Just feel I should clear something up: history of cheating =/= cheating once. If there's a history of it, there's a good chance I'd have to pass =D By the way, I unfortunately don't have her phone number, so I didn't get a chance to talk to her until she got on MSN again. Unfortunately, fortunately, whatever, I missed my chance to talk to her about it while she was hesitant, so they're currently "back together," with David carrying on as if nothing happened. It kind of pisses me off, since it obviously wasn't even that big of a deal to him. Did he just feel like instigating drama, or what the hell? Nieh. Anyway, dilemma is temporarily... nonexistent. We'll see how long that lasts. I'll mention something if anything changes. Or not. We'll see. |

So. This is great. She has acknowledged that we still want to be with each other, but (according to her) can't, due to some nonexistant reason that probably wouldn't make sense even if I knew what it was. It seems like she's about to break up with the current boyfriend, and then maybe I'll get one more chance. She'll probably end that after a couple of months, and right when we become fully independent, oh wait- she's in Chicago at a theater college, and I'm in New York, and we'll barely talk again. She doesn't know how to make good use the time that she has right now. So now I'm listening to some of the jazzier songs on the Halo Wars soundtrack and watching the wedding on The Office again, and really not feeling very good. FMFL. |

Ok so I'm ashamed and at the same time I'm Insanely happy and confused and hur and lots o other gooey emotions are flowing through my head.....story: Ok so since middle school I've liked this girl, but I've always been too much of a loner to really go talk to her and stuff. When i was in eighth grade we had some classes together and started to talk eventually becoming friends. Last year I noticed she wasn't coming to my school(she moved and we went to different high schools) and that saddened me a bit but again I didn't think much of it since she was way out of my league... Now this year I'm in 10th grade and have a girlfriend and we're happy nothing to worry about we're all careless and stuff....but....BOOM!! out of nowhere who do I see at the entrance of the school as I walk to the library HER! Now we're back to being friends, and I found out she's single so I'm confused 'cause all of the sudden I started liking her again(like like...<.<)...now I'm torn between the girl of my dreams and my GF whom I love.....and suggestions comments....help...and no I'm not going to cheat on either! Edit: I hope you feel better soon Zurginator. Edit 2: I just realized that the sheer convenience of this is amazing...>_< |

Flip a coin. Both are just as likely to dump you in the end. (Although really, I'd go with the one who likes ME more.) But I don't have very good luck with girls anyway. The last one who seemed to like me quite a bit dumped me within a couple days, sooo...yeah. |

I'm sure your current relationship will end sooner or later, and then you can go get the "woman of your dreams"
