Thanks! I've already found more data. This save data seems to have a checksum that is 16-bit at the end of a file (but before the "unused" portion.)... it basically sums up all the 16-bits above it. It is strange... It seems to work backwords... as in.. if you add 1 to the data.. you must subtract one to the checksum. |

Yes. It's only for the save game data.. each file has one.. so that's four checksums.. (two original files, and two backup files.) Hopefully it's okay to call them "files".. |
