Hello everyone. I am going to tell you a bit about using a bow to shoot arrows, and I will post images of my own equipment.

If you are right handed, then your left hand holds the bow and your right hand holds the arrow and the string. If you are left handed, then you switch.

Archery is a two handed sport. You use one hand to hold the bow, and the other to hold the arrow and pull back the string. You have to make sure that you have a very firm grip on the handle of the bow, since you have to pull the string quite far back (near your chin).

When holding the string, you can only pull back with your Index, Middle, and Ring fingers. You can not use your Thumb or Pinky. You have you hold the arrow between your Index and your Ring Fingers near the string, and you can not have the arrow touch your hand on the handle part (basically, you have to hold the handle with your hand, and keep the arrow above the handle, also being careful that the feathers will not touch your hand when you release).

Okay, you are basically read to start shooting, but there are some things that you should know.

You should keep your feet parallel with your shoulders (is what my instructor told me), and you have to turn the upper half of your body in a 90° angle compared to the lower half of your body. Also, there should be three feathers on the arrow. Quite often, one will be a different colour than the others. This one has to face outwards from the string.

And this is my short guide on Archery. Please note that I will show pictures of my equipment,m and even some images of me using the bow (no arrow of course, I can't shoot it in an apartment building (although I might not have to pay rent if I hit the superintendent...)).

Have a nice day.

Oh wow, it's been a while. Um. Hi. I guess I can get back into M&L stuff sooner or later, it really has been ages.

To use a sword, /\ and / again.

That is interesting that you have archery equipment... By the way, you never posted images...

I've experienced archery back in 6th grade P.E. And we were aiming for the target thingies. So yes, I can say that sounds right.

Hmm.. my memory is a little foggy, but overall, that sounds correct.

You know, I do remember that you have to position that way... Pretty much.
