Yes Mario and Luigi's default "Sprite-Fixing" is 6F, as far as I know.

Edit: I forgot to label the second memory viewer: Yoshi Theatre data.

EDIT: The warning is only true if the Sprite Fixing values match any other Sprite Fixing Values.

Oh cool, thanks for the tutorial again. It is pretty helpful.

Anyway, now to contribute something...

082F5596 is the Monty Mole dungeon where to can get the "High Ends" badge. I think it is the cave that is closest to the entrance to Teehee Valley (this is where you change things like sprites, scripts, palettes, etc.).

Oh cool, I like those palette selections. I agree with you that the last one would be good for a forest, but I would prefer the last one to be in a dark tunnel with a lot of moss or something.

Did you guys ever have any luck coming up with values for the Mario Bros.' inital stats and/or level-up bonuses?

I tired searching for them, because they were to be in the editor. However, we had very little luck with finding their whereabouts. However, at one point, I might have located something that affects the Bros. Points level up bonus. I think I recorded it somewhere...

Who are you calling an old man?

All the luck that I have had related to this is located in the LEVEL UP topic, and it has been delayed, and I have been ignoring it for some time now.

Edit: But now that you mention it, I should put it on my to-do list inside my memory box. (brain.)

Do you suppose that the "unknown" values are for Hammer, Hand, and the three non-initial Bros. Attacks, respectively? Just giving wild guesses, here. I'll test it briefly.

Never mind, but a nice find, nevertheless.

This enables or disabled those blocks in battle? Perhaps one of them affects the Back Block, when you want to cancel an action which you are about to perform.

My only other guess is that they are empty slots for blocks which do not exist. Best way to find out could be to test 001C (8 + 4 = C) to see if anything is missing.

My theory is that they could include the ability to dodge/counter enemy attacks?

P.S. Daster? Good theory anyway, since it makes sense.

Also, Charley? Nice find!

Who are you calling an old man?

Yes... and I'm posting here to say that when one escapes from a Bowser battle (beginning of game.) You escape without falling even if you don't hit the A button once.

And with that I could finalize the 0063 value is probably connected.

Possibly. If I try to test, I will most likely go for the Fighter Flies...

Of course, it is easier to run away if you have fewer coins, and you start with 0 coins in the game (even when still near Bowser). The ability to flee could be connected to your coin value.

Who are you calling an old man?

By the way, if you look at the gsys commands and these flags relating to field abilities, battle, etc. you will see that they are connected.

Only problem is... the gsys commands only cover 8 bytes worth of these flags. Atleast we know which ones are truely unused, though.
