Due to the emergence of some pretty huge debate topics, I decided to make a few rules and reminders so things don't escalate into full-blown arguments and uh-oh, all relations on this board are "skewered from ear to eye." 1. Don't attack other members, attack the words. Example of something okay: Person 1: I don't believe Bigfoot exists because no one ever found a carcass that didn't turn out to be a hoax. Person 2: While that may be true, I believe Bigfoot (and creatures like it) tend to hide in remote places, and therefore a body couldn't be found by conventional means. Example of something stupid: Person 1: I don't believe Bigfoot exists because no one ever found a carcass that didn't turn out to be a hoax. Person 2: Yeah, well you're stupid. Bigfoot exists, he just doesn't want us to find any bodies so he eats any of his friends that die. 2. If you feel at any time a debate is starting to go too far, DO NOT TRY TO STOP THE ARGUMENT BY STATING THAT IT IS STUPID. You will come under fire and escalate it further. Tell a mod or admin as soon as possible, and they can do whatever they feel would be necessary. Well, that's all for now. When I think of more rules, I'll put 'em up. |
