I will go for my usual, we will either win 3-1 or lose 5-1. On a serious note if we play like we did at coalville we have nothing to fear.Defence will be key, I've no doubt with shots, kinsey,jj and Skelton, we have stacks of goals in us, not forgetting ash, who gets a few headers. Jack sherratt will deliever his normal top class performance, looks a very tasty game tomorrow.Pace wise and forward movement, this is one of the best squads at the grove for a while, up there with Lenny, rhead and Bryan moore, high praise indeed. Shots and jj will be the match winners tomorrow,COME ON THE GROVE |

Correct, embarrassing to be honest with you........it all started when a few of your own fans left your clubhouse(the ones that had been up in the balcony bit above your stand)about 5.15 when they all started singing 'bye bye bye bye' and instead of retaliating with 'we can see you sneaking out'a few prepubescent chavs decided to confront them with expletives at which point a couple of your real fans had a go telling them to calm their language because he had his 2 kids and mates with him(which i full understand)I noticed a few Leek players faces at this point,a penny form their thoughts would of been interesting! At which point a stand off occured between a few. I do agree that Leek fans were having a sing song before this with a few expletives here and there and there was 2 lasses that were trying to quieten them down(one in a purple neckerchief and one in a black and white dress). The one in the black and white dress was a real laugh and a nice person and i think realised it was mainly kids with too much nectar down their gullets. The one in a purple neckerchief asked a few to stop banging their feet on the floor while singing,so obviously they carried on regardless and i think she seemed to get a bit p***ed off at this point at which point the lady in the black and white dress took charge Back to the game,i thought it was a game of 2 halves regarding your keeper,1st half outstanding,2nd half Sunday league....................i was surprised to see your number 5 go off at ht as with your keeper he was your best player 1st half and when you went 2-0 up Kinsey seemed to drop back into a defensive midfielder role. |

Reece, We were extremely lucky to come away with a point, the subbing of Parky (due to injury before the game) was a unfortunate decision forced upon Shaun, who, to be absolutely fair got the tactics spot on, however , replacing him with Ash Hill was in my opinion a poor decision, I,m sorry to keep banging on about Ash but he ain,t good enough ( or consistant enough ) for this level. Big Dyse will not need reminding about his second half performance, and knowing how he is he will be the first to hold up his hands. Marks as follows (7.5 is par) Dyson, 5 (the two first half blinding saves earns him an extra mark) Jack Sherratt ,8.5 (M,O,M,) Phil Parkinson 8, Paul Taylor, 7.5, James Curley,7.5 Donners, 7.5, Skelts 8, Kev Street, 8, (first time I,ve seen him play, pretty solid performance) Kins,7, Shotts, 8, J, J, 7.5 Subs Ash Hill 6, Jordy White 6.5. Referee 6.5, Dugout line official, 7, other line official, 7. Leek's M,O,M I thought was Shelley their No 8, got a footballing brain has that lad. It was a game of two halves as has been said and full credit to Leek for coming to win the game and not stifling everything, thoroughly enjoyed the game and for any nuetrals (if there were any there) it must have been quite exciting. Not good for the old ticker but I,d settle for a game like that every week, but with a three point success at the end. Thanks to both teams, a super Saturday afternoon out. |

Honda -ex crewe, stafford player, good footballing knowledge. We are now the 3rdbest scoring team in the league, so obviously the problems lie at the other end, conceded too many, but it's very exciting stuff .Dave produced two wonder saves before, but I'm sure he will want to forget the others, don't know whether the leek fans got to him or what ? |

I thought a draw was a fair reflection. We started far better and were good value for our lead, despite us sitting back too much after we'd gone two up. Leek may feel aggrieved that they didn't pull one back before the break, but if you're going to miss sitters like Haddrell did you've got no one to blame but yourselves. Second half was a complete turnaround, they looked far better on the ball and the comeback had a sense of inevitability to it. But then we started to play again, another confident finish by Shots giving us the lead back. Unfortunately the equaliser summed up our defending, a needless corner given away in the first place and we look vulnerable from set pieces at the moment. Funny how opinions differ, I thought Danny Smith was the best player on the park by some distance, barely missed a thing at the back and was a real danger going forwards too combining well with Sanders. In the last two games we've performed well against the runaway leaders and self-proclaimed promotion favourites during preseason. If we carry on this form we should start picking up some more wins again, which is important as the league is so tight now, especially with Hucknall winning at King's Lynn yesterday. |

Reece, Creep , you are after a piece of wedding cake, lol, but one point ain,t enough to get you one With regard to Kev I was aware he had been at Crewe but not at Stafford, even so I thought he had a good solid game. |
