Jimmy Wallace

3. which manager played for Crewe Alexandra

4. which manager played for Everton
Kevin Langley

5. which manager played for Notts County
John Ramshaw

Blinking norah these are as tough as the brew huts baps.
Can only add to one answer. Not sure what there official title might have been, caretaker etc, but didn't we have both Porter and then Nolan in charge for a couple of games. Might have been in our first year up but can't be sure but could swear being away to Bamber Bridge and Porter was in charge. I think player power got rid of him cus he was supposed to be a bit of a bully.

That could be utter nonsense, it's been a long week. :(

Think you're right with Nolan and Porter - wasn't this during the time that we were making Chelsea look like a stable place for managers? Can't help thinking that Terry Hillman himself may have taken charge for one game too, but that might really be utter nonsense

No, I think you're right there Alan. I remember John Rowley telling me that Terry Hillman sacked a manager (can't remember which one, I think he got through a lot) and told him 'I can do better myself'. And he promptly took the managers place in the dugout for the next game. Think he only lasted for the one game though then probably sacked himself!

jimmy wallace, chris hagan, russell batho, dave sutton, terry hillman, peter ward, paul ogden, bernard taylor, dave nolan, andy porter, john ramshaw, kevin langley, anthony buckle,/ darren twigg, shaun hollinshead

2. jimmy wallace

3. shaun hollinshead

4. kevin langley

5. john ramshaw

6. darren twigg/anthony buckle

7. bernard taylor

8. peter ward

alan lloyd had a good attempt getting the majority right.
