They've got a squad of players now, unlike this time last week, so I believe any rain will have less of an effect. B)

Maybe a bit ;)

If they'd have called it off at 5pm rather than 9.30am, it may have been less suspicious!

Of more concern would appear to be whether they have a chairman and benefactor or not. Since Jim Rushe was made personally bankrupt last month (as well as his company) he now fails the FA fit and proper person test - i.e. he can no longer be a director or chairman (or any other official title that is recognised by the FA). I notice that there has yet been no announcement in the 3 weeks since the bankruptcy order on either their official website or elsewhere. I'm sure their fans would like to know what's going on as much as anyone.

Find it interesting that they can sign 7 players from the same club at the same time. I was under the impression that this couldn't be done. Obviously it can! Stranger is the fact that the 9 players (in total) they've signed were good enough to win 4-0 at the weekend, so obviously they're decent players (most of them have been playing in the premier league this season). The FA or the league don't seem very interested in asking them where this money to sign players has come from, given that the club has no support, no ground and, from what I hear, have not yet paid Stafford Rangers for the rent. And yet the league can threaten us with expulsion from the league for a few bits of paperwork sent late, despite us owing not a bean to anyone . Both the league and the FA need to wake up before the whole non-league scene becomes a complete farce (I'm sure some Vics supporters already think it has).

S,S,T,B,
Your point re, the F,A, and league officials is perfectly valid one, what you have not mentioned (because you are too much of a gentleman)is that these "officials "are only interested in polishing each others egos, and attending freebie junkets at the end of the season, trust me my friend I have had "run ins" with league officials in the past so I speak from experience.

As I understand it, you can only submit 7 days of approach to the same club for another player after a month has expired.

However, in the Kendal-Northwich case, I think Kendal were looking to slash the budget, so simply agreed to cancel their registration, leaving them free to sign for Northwich.
