Reserves playing (hopefully) this Saturday against the Bullet's reserves, k,o, 2pm.
Should be a good game cos ,the bullets will like their senior colleagues come to play football so kicking each other should be at a mininmum, could be a bit tasty though there is after all local bragging rights at stake
If you ain,t travelling to the away game with the first team get yourself down to The Seddon and give the lads a shout, I just hope that the game is on.

Does anyone know if the reserve v Bullets match is still on for today at 2pm.?

Match was on, Grove looked absolutely super first 25 minutes but same old same old can,t stick it in the onion bag, could have been 3 up in the first 10 minutes but went in at half time 0-0
Second half we went into the lead 1-0 but a rare Jonny Birks mistake allowed the Bullets to equalize albeit against the run of play.Birksy and Benny seemed to play well together with Edders doing what he is very good at, bossing the midfield area, also putting in some real quality knocks from dead ball situations.
Young Alex was again oustanding , he is beginning to marshall the back line by being more vocal,at the risk of repeating myself, he is a talent and sooner or later someone is going to pinch this boy off of us.
Noods scored the second goal to put us 2-1 up but the Bullets were never going to get anything from the game unless Grove made a mistake, 2-1 always sounds a bit tight however taking the game in its entirety Grove were by far the better team but giving credit where it is due the Bullets never resorted to kicking us.
Good display from the Referee and his two officials, the ref was under some pressure today beacause he was being assessed but he did himself no harm today in the cause, worth at least 8.5, thats the last two games we have had a decent ref in the county league its a pity they are not up to the same standard in the Evostik.
