Grow up Nathan. You're starting to sound a bit like Mikey H. Do you go to the same school? It sounds like he has finally given JJ a chance and what happens. 2 Goals. Now, maybe if the manager had managed this talented lad a bit better during the first part of the season we would have a few more points on the table. I don't think anyone, even Shaun's relatives (Nathan), could argue that JJ should have had more minutes on the pitch than he has so far this season. I'm not saying he should start every week, but he should definitely feature every week (and not just last 5 minutes), as, without doubt, he is a game changer. And your comments about sacking are a bit premature Nath. After all, if he can sack Wardy after winning the cup, then he isn't going to worry about sacking a manager for winning only the second league game since 1st September. |

My only criticism tonight, kinsey scoring after 40seconds, can't believe the bar clock not keeping time.Kinsey curling a gem in so I was informed. Castle levelled from across totally against the run of play.Grove took the lead from Taylor shot. Second half started with grove running the game with play matching Barcelona. Jj got the third, great cross from shots, jj called for kinsey to leave it, jj bullet header from 7ysrds to make it 3-1.jj got his forth with a shot from 15yards after dancing his way into the penalty area. |

Kinseys was a bit flukey. I am sure it was meant as a far post cross. can't think of anything that hasn't already been said. Great all round. Thought Sharratt and JJ showed the older heads how it should be done. Sharratt for England A mention for Ash Hill as well. I have read and written myself some unflattering reports on him (and i reserve the right to do so again in the future) but last night he muast have run and tackled more than anyone else on the pitch. poor lad hardly got a clap when he was subbed. Then again, he might be crap again Saturday.

Yep ash hill had his best game, yes I clapped as loud as possible, yes on the night he well deserved it,disappointed alot of fans seem more concerned getting off the car park than clapping the players off, that was very poor by those involved |

Nathan, In another post you have intimated that at the Seddon there are one or more two faced people, don,t know where you get that from considering that you are new to Kidsgrove F,C,but please feel free to enlighten the forum as to who these two faced people are. As for last night,s result ,"one swallow does not make a summer" so in order to convince me personally that Shaun and his mangement team are up to the job I will need to see some consistancy, and Grove climbing the league table, if and when this happens then I will be the first one to eat large portions of humble pie. Thought that the whole team played well last night, but I was a little confused as to why Shaun started with Ash Hill when on the bench were, Curley, Nadge and Donners, however in retrospect Ash had the best game I have seen him play it would appear that Shaun got that one right,so as you see I can give credit where credit is due. As for "shut up you doubters" I think you will find that the vast majority of contributers to this forum say it as they see it and will always be fair minded. |

Honda shows how much u know about kidsgrove athletic donners played right back last night and played a full 90 mins haha curly has got broken fingers an naggers played 20 last night due to not being there for 3 weeks. If you have a problem with what I put on here then feel free in Saturday to come an stand with me and we can have a chat like Ive said John Rowley cut the budget this season and Shaun has had a shoe string to play with so if anything don't blame Shaun for the high profile players in Staffordshire choosing to go play do teams who offer more money for example leek town. Also Honda I'm not new to kidsgrove as my brother played for kidsgrove when the chairman cut the budget last time when russ batho was in charge. Like Ive said my friend come stand with me on Saturday and we can have a chat I will even buy you a pint :).i know more about kidsgrove then what you think......... Come on the grove Saturday |

The management knew what the budget was when they accepted the job so to blame the budget now is no excuse. With the additional top ups the budget wont be too far off last season. However a gud FA Cup run could help with increasing budgets. In addition gates are down and will generally only increase with better results. Kidsgroves budget will be no worse than Market Dayton, Rainworth and I doubt much less than Castle Town's so don't keep harming on about budgets as it takes a lot of hard work by a small amount of people to raise this money. |

Nathan , Since I started coming to the Grove I have until recently stood adjacent to the dugout but have now decided to vary my viewing places during the game. With regards to my mistake over Donners I of course meant Shane Reany, however that is now purely academic as we all know Ash had a good game. The offer of "a pint" is most graciously acknowledged but unfortunately I do not drink and drive (and I stick to that rule rigidly) so I will have to decline your generous offer, however there are others on this forum(no names no pack drill)who at the mention of a free pint go into orgasmic raptures lol  so my friend beware . Incidentally no-one has mentioned the referee,s performance on Tuesday night which I though was worth a good solid 7, along with both of his officials I thought apart from a couple of decisions they did a good job. |

Hi Coop I dont think anybody on this forum or associated with the club would dream of criticising the effort that goes in to raising money for this or any other non league club. I believe the Management will have accepted the job / budget with the expectations associated to it. Come May you will know if those expectations have been realised. Although I doubt many managers would accept a job with a low budget and unrealistic goals?? You would be setting yourself up for a fall. That doesnt mean you cant better your expectations, nor should you want too. Would you expect West Brom to finish 5th in Prem League (probably not, but they may), Liverpool bottom half (probably not & probably will!!!), but come May they may well have swapped positions each finishing in a position for their size and budget. You cant judge after 20 - 30% of a league campaign. Things even themselves out, good performances, bad performances and generally teams finish around about where they should. Its crap not winning every week as everyone knows, but the Kidsgrove fans always seem right behind the team which is great and im sure the players really appreciate it which will hold everyone in good stead as the season moves forward. Heres to 3 points Saturday and a decent Joke from Honda before Christmas!!!! (Sorry Honda just kidding!) |
