Hi,

I'm wondering if anybody can help me out, does anyone know how much the Kidsgrove first team players get paid roughly? And also do the reserves train with the first team or do they train seperately? I know Castle Town resrves train on their own and sometimes play a training game against the first tema, is it the same at Kidsgrove?

First team wages start at £150 if you make the bench and the starting 11 get between £250 - £300 per match. Reserve team players only get paid £50-£75 per match.

Same answer as when you asked the same question in August.

I wouldn't expect the club to disclose how much individuals were paid, just as I wouldn't expect my employer to publish my salary. It's a private matter between the club and the players. I'd be extremely wary of believing anything you read, these things have a habit of being exaggerated.

Blue Mugge, you had me going there cos the players paid that sort of money would have meant that Wardy would be on at least a grand a week and Bucko fivehundred which is of course what they are worth but there has just flown a pig past my window here.

blue, what each player gets is between that player and the club. As Alan says, it's no different than going up to a crowd of people in the pub and asking them what they earn - you would be lucky to come out in one piece. Please tell me you don't expect the club to reply with a list of players and their wages?
Honda, you're wrong about Wardy - he's on £1,500 a week (but don't tell the taxman)

Think we can safely say the players are on a lot less now than 3 or 4 years ago or we wouldn't be here. What is good to know a few of these players have if rumours are true have been offered more money at other clubs but showed their alliance to Kidsgrove Athletic that in its self shows commitment. I personally don't care what they earn as long as the club is safe & the current chairman & his board have made sure that's what is exactly happening.
